Helium Comedy Club

I love this place! Top notch staff and performers. Easy to reserve tickets. Always have a great time. My advice is to order beer or a canned drink. The mixed drinks are not made well. At my last visit there were two guys talking loudly during the show and they were removed. I was grateful because the experience was being ruined for me as I couldn't hear the comedian. Good job staff.

My first visit here was to see Josh Johnson and even so I arrived around the time the doors opened, the line was forever long already. Wow. There check in was a bit on the slow side, with ALL tickets having to be found manually. Once I got my ticket, I checked in with the host, who decides where you get to sit and then someone escorts you to your table. Be aware that it's gonna be tight. Tiny tables and lots of people. Waitstaff came quickly once I was seated. And my order arrived very fast also. My Barbie cocktail was on the weak side, but still delicious. Be aware that any purchases at the bar do NOT count towards your 2 item minimum. I had ordered just the chips and salsa and also some queso with that. That was just meh as far as taste goes. Payment was easy and quick.The show however was spectacular, which is the main reason for my visit.

Terrible experience! Way too many hecklers, the service was God awful. This is the second time I've been here, I will not return. Their management has zero control. I must admit, the security guards were very professional and courteous. I feel bad for them, there are FAR better comedy clubs in Indy, this is not the spot.

A very fun and intimate venue to see comedians. It has a two item limit with attention staff and tasty drinks. They did not have a bag policy but they do metal detection for safety.

First time at Helium, the line getting in moved really quickly, i liked how organized seating was however the server... horriibleeee.. i understand being busy but its to the point you'd think it was his first night on a busy night. He brought someone else's drink, not once, not twice but three times.. I told him it was incorrect instead of grabbing the drink, he just walked away. The sampler? which is a favorite is not worth $25, no shade at all. the tenders are thin & overcooked, the mozzarella sticks are breading, the jalapeno poppers are made with red peppers? I had higher expectations for this experience.

This place was so much fun! We were attending something called Indiana's funniest. A Comedy competition of amateurs, Where we got to listen to about 10 or 11 comedians and then put them in order of how we thought they did. Three of them would then go on into the semi finals for an opportunity to win money. A great place - really nice and clean right there at Circle Center mall they weren't overly expensive and food was pretty decent for bar food. Service was really slow, but I would think it all happens at one time after they allow everybody to come in and take all their orders at the same time. We didn't get our food and drinks until probably halfway through the show. But it was good and we really had a great time, the crowd was fun and the comedy was good. Highly recommend if you're downtown Indianapolis and you want a nice evening of laughs.

I would highly suggest buying tickets at the box office when they go on sale, instead of purchasing the tickets online, the price per ticket is very different. I did not know this was an option, but now I do. Our server was overwhelmed and forgot many items we ordered for our group and drink orders. I would visit again for another comedy show, but would do things differently the next time!

We had so much fun at Helium Comedy Club! It was really nice inside the theater and in the lounge. Facilities were very clean. All of the staff were really nice. We didn't try any food but saw what was being served around us and it looked pretty good. We got some drinks. I honestly thought the drinks were going to be more expensive. They were still on the pricier side but not outrageous. Between 2 people I'd expect to spend at least $50 to get your 2 item minimum per person. They have signs posted all around letting you know that drinks purchase before the show in the lounge do not count on your 2 item minimum. I just appreciated that this was made we'll known. We saw Godfrey and he was hilarious.

Always a great time of laughter at Helium! Love the small intimate setting. They do hv famous headliners. Tickets are priced well. My favorite go to for entertainment.

Our waitress was quick and obviously not trying to interrupt the show! She was great. The food was very mid-- the best i could say about the Philly cheesesteak was "not offensive" and the best my friend could say about the chicken strips is "frozen-- think amusement park food. But the fries? Dumpster." Information you NEED about the menu: the only soft drinks are Coke, Diet Coke, sprite, and lemonade. I have posted images of the prices. It was impossible to find this info online beforehand!The seats were super well organized and the venue was intimate and well run. Get there early! And You're not there for food... maybe stick to drinks & eat elsewhere!
