Heartland Resort

The people that work here are amazing. The prices are a big much for the offerings. Water in the shower houses take a long time to get warm. Site sizes are large. We would definitely stay here again. It's home to some people.

This is a nice RV Park. It's not fancy, but it's easy to get in and out. The best part is the staff and owners though. My husband required hospitalization after a fall and they were very accommodating. That was one less thing I had to worry about while I was dealing with my husband's care and health.

Better then s&h campground the people are nice the rv spot is really nice I have not had one problem with any one here on Saturday night they have a golf-cart get together and throw candy out to the kids the fire pit are cool very laid back very kid friendly

We stayed in their camoground. First impression - dumpy, trashy, run down. It starts in the office at check in where rude staff will greet you with,"Whaddaya want?" when you walk in. I made reservations over the phone so they were expecting us. Our full hookup pull thru site had overgrown grass and weeds around the utilities that we had to cut down before we could connect anything. There was trash overflowing in the fire pit and cigarette butts everywhere. No shade at all. Water pressure was very low. Lots of run down permanent trailers. The rv storage section next to our site looked like a parking lot of old abandoned broken down rvs. I mean, there were weeds growing out from the inside of these units in storage. There's a pool and some other amenities that is open to the public for a fee so you have non-campers from neighboring houses driving up and down the roads. And beware, lots and lots of golf carts being driven by young children, like 5, 6, and 7 yrs old who can barely reach the gas pedal. Many of our neighbors did not observe quiet hours. Bottle rockets going off at midnight. Will not stay here again.

I absolutely love this resort. I have stayed there for a month at a time for the last two months. The grounds are expansive with three fishing ponds, the resort is clean and the people are very nice. Nice family that runs it. Don't understand the neg reviews but i follow the reasonable rules and have never had a single problem or cross look. It is one of my favorite places to stay when traveling the country and is like my home away from home.

Spent Saturday and Sunday here in July 2017, filthy bathrooms, garbage everywhere, and a extreme letdown. Private campground, not cheap, and so disappointing. Cigarette butts littered our campsite, along with construction staples, I felt unsafe letting my dogs out around this. In 2 days never saw one employee come out with cleaning supplies, and bathrooms had stopped up toilets, and papers strewn everywhere. I would never spend another dollar in this spot. One camper at a permanent site had out drums and amps with singing until 1 a.m. would have been a problem had we not been up talking with family members who camped also.

Horrible customer service. We never received our deposit check back and they are giving us a hard time about it. The facility we rented was not what I would call clean. The restrooms were still very dusty and cob webs. One of my visitors were told there was no wedding even going on in our building, which was absolutely wrong! If your staying in a camper I'm sure your fine but I've never stayed. This is just for renting out a building of theirs for our wedding.

Mostly full-timers who run around in their little carts all night. First night the showers were ice cold and I called, getting some person who was impossible to understand. Next morning I reported the the problem and when I checked that afternoon, nobody knew anything about it. No record. Office staff were brusque, campers were unconcerned about quiet hours, bath was dirty and water smelled. Overall I would warn everyone away from this place!

Even though we had to drive 4 miles to get here it is essentially right next to the interstate so there was quite a bit of traffic noise. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly, driving to our campsite we passed what looked like a storage lot filled with lots of junky looking RVs. What wasn't advertised is that this is long term parking, lots of sites had little fences, decks and even skirting around their RV. When we went to hook up the water we let it run and the water coming out of the hose alternated between clear, orange, and brown, it never cleared so we opted not to hook up to the water. The womens bathroom was large and spacious, but very dirty. All the showers had dirt/sand on the floor and hadn't been scrubbed in quite awhile. On the plus side the sites are nicely spaced and flat and there is a lot of shade.
