The local farmer's market in Greenfield is held at the Hancock County Fairgrounds on Saturday mornings. Surrounded by farm land, it is no surprise that the market is filled with fabulous fresh produce, breads and eggs. I've been coming here for years. There were about 18 vendors. In addition to produce, a number of vendors were selling local hand crafted goods. The prices are great! The market is not fancy. There is no band or restaurants selling fancy breakfast items, like some of the trendy markets. It's a nice old school farmer's market. The people were super friendly. Parking was close and easy and it took less than 30 minutes to walk through and get my bounty. I'll be back.

Harvest Market, in greenfield, on Apple Rd does not exist. That is where the Farmer's Market is held on Saturday's and Wednesday's. The HARVEST Market is a grocery store. Greenfield had one when we first moved here in 1979. The HARVEST Market is now closed in Greenfield. I sometimes stop at the Harvest Market in Anderson, IN but (bear with me) the Harvest Market is no longer in Greenfield, IN. My intention, with this post, is to keep people from driving up and down Apple Street looking for a store that doesn't exist. We want you to be happy when you are in Greenfield, IN. Please visit the Farmer's Market on Saturday's from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. They are also there on Wednesday with the same times. NOTE: They don't always start Wednesday hours in the very beginning until more products become available. You can find them on Facebook and by searching the internet for Greenfield IN Farmer's market. It is held at the County Fairgrounds on Apple Street. Happy Shopping!
