Harrah's Hoosier Park Casino Racetrack

I followed the scent of flowers to the High Roller's section. I walked along the carpet like it was a color-coded river. I haven't been back there in 5 years. It was my last stop before moving to California with my daughter and husband. It was raining, and I set someone's bet for them on a horse named "Peaches". I left two pennies on the back of a bus on the way to a hotel - curious as to where the change goes from there. Since then, I started a form of digital casino called "Jorxr's Casino" that runs semi-legally.

We went back recently after not having been in a good while. The place has had some updates and there are now more live tables than there used to be. There are a lot of machines, but just as before, many of the old standby penny slots have been taken away. Too many of the same kind of machine and too many higher dollar initial bet machines. They still require your ID to enter and they now insert it into a machine to check you through before you can enter.

You have stuck video poker in a corner and decreased the machines. I used to enjoy a day here with my husband who plays slots but no more . There is nothing for me to do except watch him play . When you had a full area you would occasionally see someone win , not any more it's silent as the grave . You don't value your video poker players could it be because VP has better odds than slots ? Is it possible you're that money grubbing? You're a casino you always win can't you give your patrons a little chance .?

I guess big chain casinos didn't get to be big chains by giving out more than they have to, and this one is no different. As others have said, these are among the tightest slots I've experienced in a while, and I travel all over the country. In the one-and-a-half hours it took me to go through my bankroll, I hit two "bonuses." One paid my twice the amount of my bet; the other, three times. Hardly what I'd call "bonuses."But seriously, now the positives, and there are a few.It's a good-sized casino with a good variety of slots, from old-school reels to the most up-to-date video games. Plenty to choose from.It also has a variety of true table games as well as automated games that mimic table games, like an automated craps game. Kind of a cross between the real thing and a slot.It's pretty clean. No issues there. There is also a "no smoking" section but when I go to a casino, I expect to encounter plenty of smoke, even though I don't smoke myself. Goes with the territory.It has a variety of bars and a restaurants between the casino and the adjacent horse track. But I'm always puzzled about why the operators would think I'd stay and spend more money at their (usually overpriced) restaurants when all their machines do is take.Next time, I'll find somewhere else to play.

Save your money and make the trip to Firekeepers in Michigan. No promotions, no wins and nothing worth going to Anderson for. At Firekeepers you can have a free hotel stay, free food voucher and tons of free credits. At Anderson you don't even have free credits for your birthday let alone all other offers. Skip it.

Terrace Showroom with the Temptations! They are older and still moving great. The sound was fantastic and the venue is intimate.

These are the tightest slots I've experienced in a while. They offer a smoking and non smoking area They have live tables, but they also have strict rules. Only one of your hands can access your cards. They dealers are not as friendly as others. I went during the week and the crowd was as I expected, older and more sedate. They are expanding, why I have no idea. This was really a boring environment and I didn't enjoy it as I thought I would. 3/10 I can't recommend.

Maybe it was just a typical Tuesday night but the machines were tight dealers seemed cool and Won more than I did nice casino

I'm a 7 Stars getting over $500 offers. I have a tier score of almost 700,000 and did over a million last year. My host and several of the workers refuse to help then if you get aggravated then they want to threaten to call security on you.

Would be 100% better if there was a no smoking at the table policy!!! The casino, food, dealers etc. were otherwise good.
