Hamilton Center Ice Arena

My sons hockey team attended a Hockey Jamboree this weekend at the Hamilton Center Ice Arena. I was very impressed with the ice area. Bleacher are wooden, which isn't always so comfortable but it kept my bottom warm! The had a small ice rink for players to warm up before they take the full ice. Rink is very well maintained & plenty of bleacher space! Concession stand is nice and well maintained. Who can pass up $1 for popcorn! Bathrooms are a big things for me at an ice rink. I always feel like no matter what, the potty's are freezing! But, much to my surprise they were nice & warm! Overall, I was very impressed with the arena! They even have a "walker" type device to help new skaters (which would not be used during hockey but for open skate). I wish they had something like this closer to my home!

What a welcoming place! A cozy rink in a great town. Don't miss the annual Ice Skate Show, typically the last weekend of April.

Small town local ice rink that serves as a venue for the Columbus Icemen youth hockey team...It's small with bleacher seating (think 4 steps of wooden benches), but still cozy as it can get for a FREE ADMISSION hockey game. The events hosted here are also ice shows and open skate for small pricing. Friendly staff, tasty popcorn, so bring your jacket and mittens and come on by!

I have always had a good time here! I love that it is open year round. The skating fee and rental are more than reasonable. However, I may need to invest in my own pair of skates, as their figure skates don't always fit a size 10 well. I wish I were a better skater so I would come more often!

We are new here but everyone has been super nice and helpful. We are excited to be this close to an ice rink.
