Griggsby's Station

Hadn't been in since it opened, decided to try it out again today. Great choice! Ambiance is on point. Food is great. Staff is friendly, Haley made great drinks! Espresso martini and an old fashioned for us, along with a bleu cheese burger with fries we split. Hit the spot for sure. Only bad thing was the Dexter guy that sat next to me and gave off serial killer vibes and his mannerisms were dead on something of a Dexter episode. Of course never show fear because these jugaloons get satisfaction from that. Anyway coming back to try the steak next time and in hopes Dexter wannabe will not stroll in because we shall be strolling out. Be careful out there everyone.

GRIGGSBY'S is in an old brick building, and I love the simplicity of the design. There are few seats downstairs, and most of it is located upstairs.The food is always delicious ... we were quite happy with bone-in pork chops with mashed potatoes and carrots. It was a large thick chop. I ordered the grilled chicken with some sort of potato pancake (?) most recently. The chicken was a little dry but was still very very tasty and all the rest of it combined made it great. It doesn't seem like a bar would have such great food.... the service takes a while but once I start eating, I usually forget how long it took to get to us. Wait staff is friendly although I occasionally felt like we were ignored but it was a Friday night so I tried to be patient.

We would have loved to try this place but be warned that you must be 21 to enter. We had our cousin with us to celebrate his soccer season, but alas in the rain and wind we were rebuffed. Ugh.I'd appreciate that info front and center so we don't make this mistake, he was disappointed.

Cool little gastropub in downtown Greenfield. The menu states the food is locally sourced, which I love. We had the steak tips and citrus marinated chicken both were really good and had good flavor. Our server was very friendly and gave us the suggestions on our entree and her suggestion did not disappoint. We'll be back again soon.

Absolutely great time!Food was excuizete and the service was impeccable. My wife and I stopped here on our way from San Antonio to Dayton and for a small town in the middle of nowhere it was wonderful. One of those hallmark type movie towns. Anyhow the food was cooked perfectly, prices were very reasonable, and the portions were good. 2 floors plus outdoor seating and plenty of staff to control the situation. Parking lot is abundant and even if it weren't plenty of street parking. Service was great, our server was friendly, and quick even with the 2 floor climb ‍. Overall great experience!10/10

Cute spot right in the downtown area, outside had hung lights and a casual vibe. Had Buffalo dip for an appetizer, and the mule, both were just okay. Cobb salad with chicken for my meal, which was really good. Huge portion for one. My friend had a burger and it looked amazing. Inside looked a little small but nice bar area.

Very cute restaurant in the middle of historic Greenfield. There is a large bar right as you walk in, and they have more restaurant seating up a set of wooden stairs. You can tell the owners really have an attention to detail as you're walking up the stairs. From what looks like the original brick, to the wooden G in the floor of the landing, the owners seem to really appreciate the beauty of an old building. I ordered a local cider, and I was glad to see a variety of local breweries on tap as well. While not a huge selection, they had picks from Sun King, 3 Floyd's, Bier, and Bell's. Since I went on a Tuesday, they were having a $4 draft special. I decided to try one of their burgers as my entree when I saw that they have their own burger blend from locally raised beef. It was really good, and I loved some of their topping combinations. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with queso and avocado!

Look, I'm going to give 5 stars and a caveat. I love this place like few others. I'll make a bold statement and say their ribeye from Tyner Pond is easily the best steak for 100 miles in any direction. It's a bold claim, but it's true. The problem comes in their total inability to staff their kitchen with enough consistency to make a consistent product. I fear this restaurant is collapsing. They have the clientele, the space, and the food, they lack enough staff to excel. This is a GM issue plain and simple. Hopefully they'll pull it together.

Second time, same great food and service. Some parking in lot, more street parking. Service was good except when she argued about giving my BIL A1 for his steak. The decided eggs were delicious. I knownits a weird thing for a restaurant but I promise they were delicious. I also got the BBQ burger. I am not a red meat person at all but their burgers are, handsdown the best in town.

While in Greenfield the other night, my husband and I decided to grab a bite to eat. This restaurant was right on the corner off of Main St. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated almost immediately and chose the outdoor seating since it was a warm night. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. I ordered a Sun King Wee Mac to drink, fried pickles for an appetizer, and Patty Melt with fries. The food was hot, delicious, and presented well. They had a diverse full bar menu and lots of great pub food options. There is a lot of construction off of Main St. diverting a lot of highway traffic so it was pretty noisy with semis driving by, so indoor seating might be preferred on next visit.
