We love that they have a multitude of events happening at the community center which can be enjoyed by residents and even non-residents (like us).We went during the holidays to walk through their lighted trail and found it enchanting. It isn't a long path but lots of fun with arches, reindeer, Santa's and more. The lights extended through the whole common area and were a delight! We also went inside for a bit and saw some great displays. The fitness area was busy but there were many spaces for people to sit or have kids play while waiting on others. This is a great aspect of the community and we are so thankful for their commitment to providing concerts, activities and other community activities.

This is a great place with a lot of variety for my kiddo. We attend the reading class for 0-35 months old at the library and she loves it. The community center has a lot of ways to stay active and engaged

Have NEVER seen anyone cleaning here! The fitness area is always dirty. The amount of dust and dirt that is in treadmills is disgusting. How does management or staff walk around this place and not notice or do anything about it?!?

The Greenwood Community Center provides a wide range of activities for those in the community. I am mostly involved in adult sports like softball and volleyball. Jeff Madsen, the man in charge of sports, is well organized, a great communicator, and can often be found supervising or helping with the execution of the game. He is fun, engaging, and a great guy. The new gyms at the community center are great and the Kid's City area in the lobby of the center is wonderful to help get the wiggles out. It is an indoor play area. You can also host birthday parties or other events there, as well. The only wish I have is that the facility were larger. Only having two basketball/volleyball courts can be quite limiting. I do hear, though, that there are plans to build a larger field house and we are very excited about this!Overall, our family is pleased with the cleanliness of the building, staff, and programming. Thanks for providing a great place to come together for fun with friends and family.

Wow! Amazing! Super fun! I am trying to think of as many superlatives as I can to express how awesome this indoor playground is. Fantastic! Wonderful for kids!I'll start this review by raving about the boring things. This place even gets the the boring things right. Things like including a nursing room (yay!). Or a designated eating area with a kitchenette, picnic benches, a refrigerator, microwave and sink (woohoo!). Or allowing open space to run and play, and not cramming too much into the space. And then there are the fun things. There is a huge climbing structure called a Luckey Climber. If you have seen the one at the Children's Museum, then you'll know the kind I am talking about. There is also a pretend grocery store and kitchen, an art center, a Lego center, a wooden playground for young kids, big foam blocks to build with, engineering and creation stations, an interactive video game, and a musical garden outside. So many things to do!Kid City is part of the Greenwood Community Center. It's $5 per child, which is a great deal. We took kids ranging in ages from 2 to 7, and they all had a great time.

There's so much going on at the Greenwood Community Center, both day to day and with special events. Kid City is probably the biggest attraction here, particularly those with young kiddos. Plenty of activities for kids of all ages and skill levels. In addition to that, there are classes galore and sports leagues and a fitness center available. Most activities and classes have a resident rate as well as an out-of-town rate, which is confusing particularly for Greenwood since there's a significant chance your Greenwood mailing address isn't actually in the city limits at all. So be careful there! Otherwise, this is definitely a great place to follow for special events in the community and things to do no matter the time of year.

Our family loves this place! We recently moved to Greenwood and became members right away. There are a wide variety of physical activities to keep my little ones busy, stimulate their creativity, and give them opportunities to interact with other children.

Newly remodeled Community center in Greenwood, IN. Not only is the facility well air conditioned but has a workout area with ellipticals, exercise bikes, treadmills, weights, etc. There are several fitness classes throughout the week and members get a small discount on the class price. For the children a full size court with multiple basketball rims and balls available. Kid City has a play kitchen, play store, life size light brite, playscape, etc.. There is an elevator and the entire facility is handicap accessible. Excellent, safe, and clean place for the family to stay active and have fun!

No full court, doesn't list online so you do not figure it out until you pay your $6. Lowkey fraudulent behavior if you ask me.
