A sad, empty booth with a faded menu. They serve some of the most vile tasting and looking food that I have ever eaten. I gave the browning lettuce and rubbery beef/lamb a chance but the flavor was awful. The tzatziki tasted as if it had soured or had been mixed with a cleaning solution. My palate isn't refined enough to tell the difference.I watched one staff member microwave the meat, unashamedly, while another (possibly the owner) chatted with a friend the entire time I was in the market. It seems as though they are doing their best to fail which would be for the best.

Grecian Garden is neither a garden nor is it in Greece. Discuss.I'm not a huge fan of the food here. I found it pretty bland both times I came, and the second time (which was later in the day when everyone was closing up), it didn't seem as fresh as at lunch time. I guess it had been sitting out awhile. Not a fan of the Dolma or the Falafel. The Hummus isn't too bad, but in general it's not top on my "Middle Eastern Foods" list. I still might try other stuff in future because it's better than a lot of the overpriced stuff in this up and coming food hall.

If you have a hankering for a juicy gyro with all the fixings in fluffy pita bread, then Grecian Garden is the City Market vendor for you! For around $8, you can get a rather large beef-lamb gyro. The gyro meat is flavorful and does its job, but the sandwich itself is quite greasy. Thankfully, I didn't order any sides to go with it as it would have been way too much food. Their side options (rice, green beans) that were sitting out looked a bit sad, anyway. After looking at some of these reviews, I'll have to try the meatloaf next time!

This place is wonderful. It is hidden in the city market and is another of the market's very good places to eat. I always get their meatloaf, which is delicious. The potatoes and green beans are also very flavorful. I see many bad reviews which is shocking. I must just go there on the good days or the meatloaf is just their spectacular dish. The guy that works there is not mean, but he is not the friendliest either. Anyway, I recommend at least giving this place a try.

Whenever I am visiting the Wed farmers market, I like to also buy lunch here; I love their potatoes and green beans!! The owners and staff are very friendly and kept my camera safe for me once when I had forgotten it - even having me to describe it, just to be certain that I was the actual owner. I really appreciated that!

When I saw that momma's special was stuffed cabbage rolls for the day, I stepped right in line. Then, I saw rows upon rows of stacked canned vegetables and I told myself, "Do not judge a restaurant by the number of canned foods." I was wrong.Let's start with the positives - the staff was really friendly. I think I met "momma" herself and she seemed to have taken a liking to me and gave me big scoops of the food. Service was quick and the food was decently priced. Around $10 and a couple bucks more for the specials. Now the not-so-good - The food was all so salty. Looking back, it may have had to do with the canned foods I saw. Starting to think they weren't just for show.. It's been awhile since I ate it but from what I remember the stuffed cabbage rolls themselves had a pretty mild flavor. The tomato sauce they were cooked in was salty though. I also ordered a side of potatoes and so I found myself taking a bite of the cabbage rolls and then a bite of the potatoes. There wasn't anything special with the potatoes - they were just cooked down until they were soft. Pretty mild in flavor as well. Not much to suggest or recommend.

The dolmas are like hefty beef burgers wrapped in flimsy yellowed leaves. I was going for something a little lighter, maybe vinegary, and veg-and-rice-heavy, so I wasn't terribly impressed, but the lemony sauce was nice to dip soft pitas in. Everything was scorching hot!

The little Greek restaurant in the city offers tasty beef/lamb gyros on the go. You can also get a meal for lunch that includes a 1/4 of roasted chicken in Greek spices with a vegetable for a side. If you are trying to maintain a clean eating diet, this little gem has lots of choices to help you maintain that diet.Note the owners are always present and very friendly.

Well, that was a mistake. Everything was limp, bland, and seemed like maybe it was reheated from another day.Rude guy behind the counter, too. Will not return, plenty of much better options nearby.

John still hasn't paid employees last pay check. Owner and managers at city market are not returning calls. Very unprofessional. They know he is a bad owner and will not help out the employees. City market has lost all value. John needs to go!! Please like if this has happened to you.
