Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

This is a hidden gem! They have really good food. Big portions. Yum! A clean establishment.

Please rename crabmeat Rangoon to cream cheese Rangoon - maybe .005% crabmeat - just ate three absolutely no crabmeat flavor - should have bought a block of cream cheese and ate with a spoon - fried rice good but had better Update - very good carry out tonight - did not get crabmeat Rangoon but had nice dinner without - they even made my wife something not on menu!Update to the update - ordered carry out on Friday nite - took a chance an ordered crabmeat Rangoon - they were excellent as compared to old owners - updated to five stars!

Good quality Chinese food. Large portions. Owners are very friendly. I had the General Tso's chicken with vegetable fried rice and egg roll. I also really enjoy the Crab Rangoons.

Im not from here I'm a truck driver that was looking for Chinese this place is very good and clean and service was great thank u I will have to come back again amazing!!!!!!

New owners I think have vastly improved the value and menu. The only thing that I've tried recently that was not up to par were the egg rolls. Beef and broccoli, chicken Lo mein, pork fried rice, steamed dumplings, and some of the best hot and sour soup I've had. They now have a lunch buffet, tables, and even a lighted menu board! The staff is friendly match and accommodates reasonable requests. (Spicier, sweeter, more sour, etc). 5/5 will be back.

Went here with a couple boys from our baseball team and they each got 3 plates before they started eating. Typical Chinese buffet, not gourmet but LOTS OF FOOD at a good price.

They need to know everything not fresh until it's gone. Replace the old food‼Please replace the old food!! Do not be preparing carryout orders with food from the buffet

I live in Alexandria, Indiana; and I eat at this restaurant at least once a week. This is your standard Chinese Food, but better than just standard. By standard, I mean the menu is typical Chinese/American cuisine. However, that being stated, it is not just standard or typical. For starters, the Egg Rolls are the best Egg Rolls I've even eaten in any Chinese Restaurant anywhere outside of Hong Kong (my wife agrees). I've eaten practically every Chicken dish on Great Wall's menu and all of them have been very good. My favorite is their Hunan or Szechuan Chicken (both distinctly different from one another). I've eaten all of the Lo Mein dishes and there is not one that I would not eat again. The Singapore Chow Fun is a good choice, although not Lo Mein. I am working my way though the Vegetable items on the menu... and so far, so good. I really, really like this Chinese restaurant. The portions are fair and very tasty to boot.
