Great Harvest Bread

You don't get much for your money. I ordered through Door Dash and wanted more than just my 1/2 sandwich. In order to do sides, I was forced to order 2 at an additional $2.29 EACH. Okay, not sure if this is just a Door Dash thing, but I ordered a bag of chips and a side of pasta salad. The pasta salad was maybe 1/4 cup -- for $2.29! And it was absolutely drenched in dressing. I mean swimming in it.I also wanted my sandwich toasted -- they charge another $0.69 to toast the bread that I was already getting on my sandwich. I understand everything has gone up since Covid but I think they are taking it to the nth degree -- charging for toasting the bread...SMHAt any rate, in my opinion, there are other places in town that give you a much better bang for your buck. I'd go elsewhere.

When you walk in you are greeted with friendly workers and wonderful smells of fresh baked goods. We were instantly offered fresh samples of bread that was warm and fantastic!We left with a loaf of vanilla bread. It is pretty much like a dessert. We also picked up some of the fruit bars. We opted for the mixed berry and cherry. They were amazing even 2 days later. I definitely would be a regular if I lived in the area. The people were so friendly and the bread is fresh. Reasonably priced for what you get.

Delicious bread options here! They are kind and generous with samples to show off their product line. I enjoyed the chocolate babka-style bread.

Meh. I think my expectations were set too high. We always pass this place when it's closed and when we passed when it was open, I was too excited! They give free samples of bread when you enter but I really wanted a sandwich and just to eat, looking back, I wish I would have tried it to realize the bread is not my preference. Everyone at my table got different bread so I tried them all. It's incredibly sweet for all the breads. They also all kind of mushed and crumbled. I also didn't appreciate the banter of the employees. One person said they needed help that they've never checked anyone out before to which the other replied, "you mean you've never checked out a women before?" I know you think you're being harmless but let's stop objectifying women, it's in these small one off comments that it happens too.

Such an excellent lunch spot. I've never been disappointed by anything. I appreciate the local touch and the freshness of the ingredients.

This is a small shop that focuses more on selling freshly baked bread and other items for carry-out. I've had their bread multiple times but have yet to buy any for myself. The shop also serves sandwiches made on their bread. One lunch hour I decided to try it. I ordered half of a turkey and swiss on sourdough bread. There is minimal seating inside and outside the shop - four inside and two bistro sets outside. If you go around the lunch hour consider yourself lucky if you find a place to sit. I opted to carry it out and ended up eating the sandwich on my lap in the car. I wouldn't order the sourdough bread again. It was dry and crumbly and fell apart, so eating it in my car became a struggle. The sandwich ingredients were substantial. The rewards program is generous as you get a free sandwich or loaf for signing up, so I will try this one more time for a free sandwish but skip the week-old sourdough bread.

I love this place! Such a cool inside, and the bread is always delicious. My favorite is the chicken salad, but everything is equally fantastic. Cookies are a must have every stop!!

Wonderful place! Five star baked goods and five star service all day long. My personal favorite: big scones, some crunch on the outside and cakey on the inside. Everything is great: breads, cinnamon rolls, fruit bars, sandwiches, cookies - it's all delicious. Not much else to say, this place is awesome! Follow them on Twitter for updates.

I found this location while delivering for my job. I absolutely love it! The only place I will buy my bread now as it is minimal ingredients with great flavor. You know exactly what you are getting! Staff is amazing and friendly. Cinnamon rolls are top notch, and they even sale honey from Springboro local honey farm! 10/10 recommend. Check it out!

Love their friendly service. Dakota bread is my favorite. I enjoy tasting the free slice of bread to try other breads.
