GQT Brownsburg 8 GDX

I come to this theater all the time. I live in Indianapolis and will drive to Brownsburg for this theater. Tonight my husband and I went and had our first issue. It wasn't with our service or the movie but with the annoying kids behind us. I went and talked to Travis, the manager and within the time it took me to get back to my seat he solved my problem. He also happened to be the guy to get our tickets and popcorn. He was extremely friendly and because of him I'll continue to go back.

Ok it's 90 degrees outside so may as well go to a movie. GDX has a current selection and a variety of times to chose from. They also offer matinee prices of $5.50 or $8 depending on the day. Also good for families is the kids movie specials on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. See their event page for more info. The theaters are clean and the seats are nice and there is a nice amount of legroom between the rows. I've been twice recently and each time someone had to come in to actually get the movie started which I've never had happen before but no biggie. As any theater the concession prices are nuts so I just skip it. If you haven't already, line up to give over your money for Top Gun Maverick. It was fun.

I really enjoyed my experience here. I arrived a few mins before my movie started and was pleasantly surprised that my ticket was $9 for an opening weekend movie on a Saturday night. I didn't purchase any snacks. I feel like I got the best seat in the house. The picture was clear and the sound was on point.There was plenty of arcade games to keep the kids busy if you arrive too early and there was a decent size banquet room for birthday parties or other gatherings.

This theater has a ​great staff and superior facilities! The staff is great and are very attentive to guest needs. They​ have great and clean facilities and​​d the audio/visual really is a step up, compared to most theaters! Tonight I saw Captain Marvel - great movie by the way - but the staff member who served me was very kind and offered me the student pricing. The concessions are great with a wide variety of candy, drinks (Pepsi products), hot dogs, nachos, and of course popcorn! They also now sell alcoholic beverages such as wine coolers, beers and mixed drinks such as Mike's Hard.

Small, local and serves beer / wine and drinks for the adults! Draw back no refills on popcorn... sure its less than a dollar if you need a refill but it feels strange to swipe my card twice for my fav. movie snack :-)Also, the arcade is in the lobby so even matinee showings includes a chance to play in the arcade which can be quite loud

This was my first time at this theater and I had a very pleasant experience. The lobby and parking lot were clean. The cashier at the counter was pleasant and knowledgeable about the offerings. And the theater had good sound and comfy seating. Not too hot or cold either.Overall, a pleasant experience for $7.50 matinee.Review #2908

The theater was filthy, and the manager and employees were rude and dismissive. There was something wrong with the volume, and they refused to do anything about it.

Movie great. Movie experience terrible. Made it obvious why a theater that can hold 120 people had less than 20 on a Saturday. Expected overpriced snacks (that's normal) but charging ~$4 for a small water in a cup (not bottled) then stall popcorn. Combine that with commercials before the movie starts blasting so that everyone had headaches before the movie Will not be going back. If you want to go to the movies go to the Indiana State Museum IMAX or at least somewhere else. 0 out of 10

My friends and I just saw cocaine bear. I generally don't write reviews, but we've been coming here for 10 years now and it's never disappointed. Most inexpensive theater around, and the IMAX is still awesome! The place is generally clean as well. 5/5 to watch movies here!Thank you Brownsburg 8 for a decade of memories!-Zachary
