I've only golfed here at my company's golf outing - today was my fifth outing at the Golf Club of Indiana. The golf club continues to make improvements. The biggest this year that I noticed was the new golf cart house, new carts (super comfortable! And they have usb charging ports) and the new restrooms. I enjoy the remote location from Indianapolis- but close enough that in 15 minutes you'd be at the Meridian St exit off 465. The course is well kept, greens are nice, fairways are excellent to play, the holes are challenging with a good amount of sand, water, trees and doglegs. After golfing, we have a dinner in the club's lodge which has good seating, a bar, and a sound system. We always have a fun time here. For our company outing - 5 stars!

Great course! Even though my ball tends to find it wherever it is, there aren't a ton of water or sand traps. I have golfed here several times as part of an outing but I have not paid greens fees so I can't comment much on availability of tee times and fees. They have - over the past few years - updated the bathrooms and the attached pro shop and golf cart "garage"....it's nice to see it continuously improve, but it's been nice since the first time I've been there! The Cardinal Room is a great basic facility. It is simple enough to be transformed into what you want for your event, and a good size for a couple hundred people. I did have a chance to visit the pro shop during one visit and they quickly and affordably replaced my grip in time for me to tee off that very day! I don't know if this is typical experience, but I'm a fan!

Nice course and in decent but not great condition. The T boxes and fairways were in good shape overall. I expected the traps to all be raked daily and drained of standing water but the were not. Overall it is a very nice course to play. They have 5 or 6 different T boxes so it is friendly for all of us. I will play it again soon.

Great Track, awesome workers!! Some of the best public greens in Indianapolis!! It is a perfect course to walk because there isn't a lot of distance between holes. The Superintendent really does a good job of keeping it in good shape through the dry summer months!

Mixed bag of golf here. Nice clubhouse, practice facilities, and event space. Polite and helpful staff. Most greens and fairways were in good shape. Some soggy areas and a few damaged sand traps. It's nice to play a course not lined with home sites. The track is compact but not cramped. Played an enjoyable front nine at perfect pace, no one pushing us and barely a wait in front of us. Then comes the back nine, and a foursome of geezer members that wouldn't give way to our faster play. We waited behind them five holes before slingshotting around them.

First time golfing here and it was a great experience - nice club house and helpful staff. Greens are very fast and the course provides a good amount of complexity where you have to strategically place some shots. Only issue is they had 5 4-sums back to back which caused a back up making out round take 6 hours which is my only complaint and why it's getting 4 stars. Highly recommend though if you are looking for a great golf course.

This is my third time playing here. Played Sunday, October 11, 2020. The people were friendly enough. Decided to play here because the person on the phone at Quail Creek was quite rude. Never had that happen there or anywhere before. We got the late afternoon rate of $45 per person. The cart work very well. The greens were in great condition, the tee boxes were in good shape. The condition of the fairways was a genuine disappointment and "rough" was terrible--bone dry and a few patches of grass from which to hit. Overall the course was in poor shape. Frankly I felt that the green fees of $45 person was excessive for the conditions of the course. I would think that $25 or less would have been an appropriate fee given the condition of the course. I truly felt I paid too much and I was sorely tempted to ask for a 50% refund. Now to be fair, it has been quite dry here, so some of the situation is beyond their control. But what they charge is not. I'd play here again, after some good rains. Sincerely,"Lost and found wedge"

GCI was a solid course to play! Reading previous reviews, seems they had some unhappy customers but I can say I enjoyed the 18 holes. Golf pro shop was clean, men's bathroom was tidy and not to mention they just added Mr Asbel to the mix. It was and is a solid course to enjoy.Only down fall is when you drive in, your car coming towards the driving driving range/10th tee box so watch those windows on the car!

As a "golfer-in-training", this space was fantastic. I had the pleasure of being able to hit some balls in a heated bay (which was awesome at 33 degrees in March). Additionally, I was very impressed with the technology that comes along with the lessons. I was able to view a computer screen each time I hit my ball which gave me the ability to correct for tbe next shot.Additionally, the customer service was great. I felt welcome, and I was assisted quickly by the staff whenever I had a question.

Let me preface that this course is very nice and well maintained! I played on a Sunday at 11am and it was busy but the staff was for the most part friendly. As I played with my group, the ranger drove up on us and were told that we need to pick up the pace because a few groups had called saying we were to slow. The reality is ... if he would have driven another 100 yards he would have seen a group of 4 waiting on another group of 4. What are we supposed to do? I started playing a little tighter and ended up calling "four" because my ball about hit the group in front of me. Then of course my group, the group in front were smashed waiting to tee off. Very annoyed with the ranger for not taking the time to drive up and see where the true problem was. Because clearly we were being held up by the group in front of us who was also held up by another group.
