Golden's Fish and Chicken

I went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out who the real Jordan's is. There's the "fake" Jordan's who had the alleged problems in their kitchen and then there's the real Jordan's which can be found at two locations. The narrative about the "fake" Jordan's seems at least consistent, packaging ties those locations together and includes this location on Washington street. It's all very confusing because the sign says Golden's but the packaging will say Jordan's. It a real mystery but I digress.I stopped here for a Gyro and fries. Food was incredible I scarfed it down about as quickly as how it was served. Location itself is a little disheveled, I believe the signage was damaged by a car accident years ago. I'll be back but I might need to ask to see the kitchen lol

Wow ~ we really like this place. Always to-go. Always delicious. Things to get at Golden's/ Goldon's (or whatever this week's spelling is) with a 99.9% chance you'll be delighted: * Fried Chicken Wings * French Fries * GyroThe wings and fries appear have a seasoning salt/ sugar/ potentially MSG mixture (I say this positively) and it is life changing.

The delicious aroma from my fish dinner made my taste buds water! The store is located right on the corner and across the street from Speedway gas station making it very easy to spot. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity given! I have 2 growing teenage boys and the large catfish dinner was more than enough to fill them up with a snack for later. There is seating for those that want to wait inside. The 2 cases of various pops and juices are forefront when you walk in. I had to control myself being surrounded with scrumptious cakes in the desert case! Oh the temptation!! The perch and catfish dinners are definitely a winner! Can't wait to return and try the other dinners.

Food was okay but the accuracy was a bit off. Asked for a 2 liter of Peach soda and received Orange. Asked for Strawberry Cake and received Chocolate Cake... However, chicken and fish order was correct and I thought the food was pretty good. I would buy again and Orange Soda is always good, so is Chocolate Cake!!!

I stopped by the E Washington St location for lunch. The guys behind the counter were just kind of helpful. I hadn't been in there before, and they didn't provide much help when asked. I ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich and it was just OK. I added fries and a drink - after I paid I asked about the drink and he nodded towards a fridge with a couple of ginger ales and an orange Faygo...not real happy with that selection.Too many other options around there, probably won't return.

I ordered the Gyros and the butter cookies which were excellent, also very good value ($6.99 included fries and drink). Holding them back from five stars is the bottom rung cleanliness of the store. I tried not to touch anything as I waited for my food.

The wanna be store bought onion rings and nasty fried mushrooms are disgusting and not even worth the money! I gave them to the dogs.

Worst place in Washington st they cook fish n chicken in same grease they don't wash they hands always a long wait n I left after seeing a mice don't trust this place at all !

I had the gyro combo with fries and a drink. It was done perfectly and I really will be back. Thank you

Good food. Good price. Your average fish/chicken spot! Every neighborhood should have a spot like this! Guys are nice and open late. Always ask for extra lemon pepper!
