I mean it's a super casual place and the service really depends on who you get as a waitress. Some are great while others you basically have to beg for a refill (and the sodas are way overly water-downed). The food is bland and lacks even salt as seasoning. It's definitely not worth the cost (nearly $40 for two). The best part of the dessert bar - the chocolate fountain - has not been seen since 2020. The meatloaf option always has enough ketchup on to make you sick and they stopped having the version with gravy instead. The veggies and sides are far beyond overcooked. Even if you get here at the moment they open, the food is half cold and tastes stale - makes you wonder if they are going against regulations and using food from a day or two before. As for cleanliness, you can tell it's been at least a good week or two since the place was given a proper clean up at any visit I've had here. The staff preparing the food doesn't change gloves in between different things they prep (let alone change cutting boards or knives), so totally beware cross contamination if you have any allergies. The pro I guess is you can get the same food at most locations and you know how it will be every time. Though they never manage to open on time - the dude who unlocks the door is always running late and makes people feel like they are an inconvenience to him for waiting outside when it's actually PAST the time they are supposed to be open. And you will stand inside for a good 5-10 mins before anyone will bother to walk up to the register so you can get in to pay to eat. So they are supposed to open at 10:30am, but good luck getting to even go through line to pay til 10:45am at the earliest.

I hate to give bad reviews, but we unfortunately got sick from eating here. Everything tasted good and service was okay, but we were sick immediately upon leaving the restaurant.

This Golden corral previously had problems with food quality (was always empty pans of foods and nothing cooked right so we gave up after 2 tries). Cleanliness of most tables being cleared off was another issue but they have definitely stepped it up since re-opening post-Covid. We finally decided to give it another chance and hoped things changed. Everything was actually cooked good, fresh and not 1 pan was empty or not fresh. They definitely are back to how it should. Waiter was somewhat attentive. Inside has clean tables now too lol! Other staff was super friendly (cashier and steak chef's). Will gladly return now!

I think Golden Corral gets a bad rap but it was a great option on Thanksgiving Day. I guess everyone else had the same idea because there were hundreds of people dining in at around 11am. It was chaotic but honestly the managers and all the staff were on it. The line was out the door but we got seated in about 15-20 minutes. They were great at seating people and mostly keeping everyone together. We have a small family of just 3 so we slid right in. There were some families of upwards of 20 people that had to be split up but otherwise I think everyone got sat together. They were stocking empty food trays and replacing drinks right away. Just when I was thinking it was missing the homey Thanksgiving experience, a couple got in a fight (which the manager promptly broke up) so it was just like home There was sooo much food and a good variety. Plus, a great value at about $16 a person plus drinks. They had all the thanksgiving classics like ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese plus other entrees like pizza and Chinese food. Plus ALL the desserts. I had pie and carrot cake which I would never do at home. And a salad bar so I could feel kinda better about eating all the things. It's been probably 6 or 7 years since I've been to this Golden Corral. In the past I found it dirty and the food wasn't good enough to overlook that. But I read recently that they had made some changes and it was much cleaner. It definitely was and I'm sure I'll be back. I was sad when Ponderosa closed but Golden Corral definitely stepped it up to fill in that void.

Plentiful food and good service. This place is cleaner than I remember it being pre-pandemic, which is a good thing. Lots of people working the buffet, preparing food and keeping it filled and clean. They tend to get busy as the lunch hour wears on - I have not been here for dinner so I can't speak to that. The last time we came was right after they opened, and it seemed as though some of the food was left over from the night before and not extremely fresh, but it was soon replenished and fresh food was put out. The choices are pretty much standard American fare, along with a taco bar. I enjoy having my server bring me a cup of coffee (which is free of charge) when I have my dessert - I like the carrot cake but they have quite a few dessert selections. They offer a senior discount so I feel like I get good value for money here. Not glamorous but it's good enough for a decent comfort-food lunch at a reasonable price.

They have just about every food choice you can make and each meal is made with such care the food is second to none! Plus when it's all you can eat you do not get better than that. Choices on choice once you get in, they make everything to order however, you want to get it that way.

I have been a regular for the past few months and have been happy with the food and service. The last time I was there it was cold outside and way too hot inside. When I asked a manager to turn down the heat I got a curt response that it had been turned down. In a few minutes it was cooler and I thanked the manager but got no response. Today, a Sunday afternoon, I went into the store and this time the heat was unbearable. I sat at a table but realized that I would not enjoy a $17 buffet in the heat. I asked the cashier for a refund and even she said she was burning up. A manager came and made excuses for why the AC had not caught up with the 80 degree temperature (his words!). Basically it seems to me they did not turn down the air conditioning early in the morning so it would be cool when the large afternoon crowd arrived. Saving electricity bill over customer comfort. The manager credited my card and handed me the receipt without an apology. I won't be back. Too many restaurants that show appreciation for their customers to give my money where they don't care about customers concerns.

Let start by mentioning we all know you get what you get when eating at a buffet. The food most likely won't be 5 star but that does not mean the service should be non existent. When I mentioned to my husband dinner at Golden Corral his response was "did the kids get in trouble" as if eating there was their punishment. it's been 4 or 5 years since we last ate here so I figured let's just go. I didn't feel like cooking dinner for 6. Dining hall was clean I'll give them that. The dishes were a hit and miss I picked up several plates that still had food stuck on them. As i mentioned the food is what it is you just have to decide what is worth eating. All dessert was a NO! One guy who worked there was eating out the fruit serving bowl. He had on gloves but who knows when he changed them last. Many of the workers were caught up in personal conversations that were not work appropriate. I had to stick my head under the glass (not in the food) to get the attention of the cook who cuts the meat. One worker apparently tied her apron in a knot so another worker was trying to help her get the knot out in the middle of the buffet!! The manager came over to them and I just knew he was going to say hey can you ladies take this to the break room but noooo he said "you must have to pee and got stuck" she starts to bounce up and down like a child and was like yesss. I can not make this up.On the way out I told the 3 workers that were conversing behind the register to have a great night. No response so I said it louder and only one stopped the conversation and said have a good night back. The professionalism and customer service was non existent outside of the sweet Asian lady that refilled our drinks. My stomach is in knots from the food and my 18 month old wasn't able to keep the little food he did try down. My older 3 children eat school lunch so their stomachs are made of steel I want to say you get what you pay for but I still don't feel like the price was worth the experience. #BoardOfHealth #CustomerServiceTraining

Food is amazing business tact not so much we come quite often but it bothers me that I got here 5 minutes before dinner prices start and they said I got here 11:05 so I'm paying dinner prices it's just a shady practice but the food is great the staff is very proper clean look fresh to the eyes ambiance is supurb they said a manager would come see me about this complaint but that wasn't the case they never came out I guess me spending 90$ doesn't deserve a notion of my complaint so here I am
