Golden China

no no no... Golden China changed ownership... after all those years. What a shame. We are not particularly thrilled with the new cooks. This change was not an improvement. The crab rangoon is now sweet, very sweet. Why? The beef and broccoli wasn't great either. The broccoli nearly raw. Don't get me wrong, I do like my veggies al dente, but I don't want to have to gnaw on it like a bone. The dumplings were ok still, so that's a plus. I wish the new owners al the best, but I have to say that I am now looking for a new go-to place. This will not do.

I met one of my alumni here for lunch to have our summer check in after her orientation at IUI, she requested Chinese so I thought we could check out this place, it's a mom and pop set up, and it looks like they do a lot of carry out and delivery, we had lunch in, I got the seafood delight which was very tasty! I also had us split the crab Rangoon, my alum seemed to enjoy her lunch of noodles and chicken and Broccoli, tasty place! Check it out if you have the chance

Although this place is more of a kitchen only and carry out, I'm very satisfied with the Happy Family dish: plenty of each meat and vegetables. The hot and sour soup was made less spicy as requested. Overall I would order again from this place.

I order chicken wings I was told they were gonna be hold when I got home I found out they were cut up also order the honey chicken and the rice tasted like fish Service was good very polite

Food is real good and is not full of grease. The service is alright but the food does take awhile.

This place has the BEST house special soup and egg rolls! However, you can't call ahead for your order because they won't even start making it until you get there and pay. Also, I've waited for over an hour multiple times. My husband and I come here because it's closest to where we live and we love the soup. If you don't want to wait an hour for Chinese food... then I don't recommend this place.

Food is usually very good, but there is one server you hope you never get. She acts disgusted that you are there and want service.

No longer in business- it is being taken over by another company as of Dec 31, 2023. Likely the menu will change, along with the prices. Former owners had the place for 222 years and have retired.

I have attempted 3 times to go on lunch. Sign says they open at 11. No one there. Called last night and asked and they told me they would be open. Went today...no one there.
