We love this little park off Bluff Road and enjoy going as often as possible. Once you enter there is a parking lot near the entrance as well as some spots further up the road near the building. I believe you can rent out the building which is an older looking farm house, but I've never looked into that aspect. We go for the trails and the ability to be in the city and yet have a forested trail. The trails aren't marked except for the roots in the path to watch out for, but it is such a small area it is hard to be lost for long. We enjoy the perimeter trail and often cross paths with other walkers and people with their dogs. There are a few open grassy spaces for picnics and frisbee and such, but the wooded trails are the best feature. The trails tend to be dirt so plan to not go after heavy rain, but in the spring and fall there is nice shade as well as lots to observe as you wander. It is a nice spot for photos if you want to bring the family, or just get shots of beautiful trees and forest landscapes. We are very thankful for such a great park close with easily walked trails.

This park has a decent sized parking lot at the front entrance. It was originally called Bluff Road Estates up until 1992 when it was given its current name. The Park is open everyday from dusk to dawn and there is a house on the top of the hill is available to rent upon request, $50 per hour on Monday -Friday (before 5PM) and $60 per hour on Friday after 5PM-Sunday except for holidays. The house is not very well maintained, but still is nice and has a historical feel to it. There is a small picnic table near the house, under a tree, that you can hang out and eat some snacks.Parking here is easy. There is an upper parking lot that is right by the house and a lower parking lot that is right off of Bluff Road. The trails are very clear and well established. They are also deceptively long. You can easily get lost. However, don't worry. You won't be lost for long because the trails are not too far off of the beaten path and are basically between backyards and a main road. You will easily hit one of those if you get lost. The place is peaceful, for the most part. You do hear the occasional dog barking in a back yard and car speeding down bluff road. Some of the trails do have a few steep hills so if you want to just have an easy stroll you may want to take the trails closer to Bluff Road. The trails behind the house are a bit hilly and are a moderate level. You will get a bit of a workout in.This place offers spectacular photo shoot opportunities. My daughter had her pictures taken there and they came out great.I really like this park. They have tons of trails to take and there are different paths on each trail so you don't have to take the same route twice. I am looking forward to spending more time here.

A surprising little park that is perfect for beginning hikers. There's a little parking lot right at the entrance off the main road, and from there you're kind of on your own. There isn't a clear path or trail guide you need to follow, no maps, really not much of anything. The road does lead up to a small little house that you can rent for events (although I don't know how'd you get many cars in there) but otherwise the road doesn't take you anywhere. The trails are very clear (dirt paths that are very well-worn and some smaller less-traveled paths that are clear but grassy. The trails are more like a web than a loop or out-and-back -- you'll have a lot of instances where you can turn either left or right and end up at another fork a few minutes later. Not a bad thing, just something you'll want to try to keep track of if you want to switch things up. It's a really nice balance of being out in nature, but never far away from civilization -- with someone's backyard or a main road within sight in most of the trail. If you want something really difficult, long, or scenic this may not be the place for you, but otherwise it's a really great place to spend a quiet morning.

Cute little park that doesn't appear to be terribly busy...ideal during social distancing. Though there's no amenities (no bathroom), the park isn't really big enough to be the kind of place you'd stay long enough to require amenities. The woods are dense enough to feel like you're in nature, but it's definitely not remote...you can see homes, hear traffic, etc. If you're wanting a quick trip to enjoy sunshine and fresh air, I found it to be great for that. There were much less people than nearby Southwestway Park when I visited on a Sunday afternoon.

Beautiful small park with trails just far enough away from the road you have some peace and quiet. The park isn't too big but there are enough trails with some hills that you will get a decent walk in. The house at the top can be rented out I read.

If you are looking for a quiet place, or a local place to get a good workout from hiking, then Glenns Valley is a place for you. They have a parking lot at the entrance. From there you can head in several directions on unpaved trails that have numerous branches. I was surprised at how steep the assent was on some of the paths and really got my heart pounding! There is a mix of evergreens and deciduous trees along the way and lots of wildlife could be heard scurrying about. With so many winding trails, I will need to return to explore more of the paths.Note: There are now signs posted that sledding is prohibited in the park.Review #688

Great trails to walk on if you're in the area! I'm local and am glad I discovered Glenns Valley and will definitely start walking my dog here more often. It's not large enough to drive a distance for, but it's larger than I expected and a great spot if you're nearby. Some parts of the trail are surprisingly steep too and it made for a good little hike! I was practically dragging my lazy dog near the end. There isn't much parking (small lot as you turn in, small lot at the top) but it is such a quiet place anyways that there don't seem to be many visitors. This is a no frills type park -- no bathroom, water fountains, benches, or playgrounds. Just some nice walking trails!

Nice little park on the south side. Ok trails for fairly leisurely hiking. Good sledding hills that are popular with the kids in winter.
