Do I recommend taking a class at Glass Arts Indiana? Yes, yes, 10000 times YES! We went for a glass flower class on a Saturday afternoon and it was AMAZING. You are instructed each step of the way and get an awesome keepsake afterwards. We learned that they do actual glass blowing classes (the ornament class during the holidays) as well as more glass 'sculpting' classes (like the flower, paperweights, a duck, etc.). SO FUN! The class is held in their space at the Circle City Industrial Complex - just follow the signs to get to them. Enter at the C door (by the Fused Glass storefront) and go back and around the corner to the left (if you hit the dab bar you have gone too far!). While at GAI, there are lots of fun things you can make and display pieces you can buy. We have yet to return to get our completed flowers (they have to be in an oven to come down to temp overnight / about 16 hours so they don't shatter) but will update pics once we get them! Justin was our instructor and he could not have been more patient, funny, or kind. We have already started looking in to when we can take the next class to make something else! Thanks for a great day, GAI!

The instructor was very helpful, at first it feels like "how am I gonna do this" lol but they are with you every step and my flower turned out really cute! It gets a little warm in the room. But that's to be expected. It's a little hard to find, it's inside the warehouse in the same strip as 8th day distillery and fowling warehouse

Glass blowing has been on our date list for awhile and we had the best time! This studio holds year-round glasses and has amazing teachers. It was our first time ever working with glass and they were very hands-on and patient. For the pumpkins, it's more like molding glass rather than blowing, so we will be back for ornaments to have that experience too. They also offer more personalize and 1:1 classes if you'd like to get a more in-depth experience. We will certainly be back because it was such a fun time!

Had an awesome class ran by Justin making Plant-Watering Stakes - it was our first time and we are already looking into attending other classes! Justin first explained the process, demonstrated making one of his own and then the 5 of us took turns making our own, with his help! It is not cheap but from our understanding the glass is pretty expensive, so it's very much worth the price! I can't wait to pick up our stakes and start using them!

Recently attended a glass blowing class at Glass Arts Indiana and it was a great time! These guys really know their stuff and hold a great class. The instructors are a lot of fun and you come away with a beautiful item for your efforts. They built all kilns and equipment themselves and I couldn't believe it. Stunned.Finding them is part of the adventure! if you have an interest in fun things to do that are not all about food, I highly recommend taking a class. You won't regret it!Pics of our adventure forthcoming :)

We attended a bird-making class and it was wonderful. The instructors are funny, patient and do a good job ensuring your final piece is indentifiable-- to our great relief. There is also a great selection of glass for purchase there including decorative (cupcakes, fruit, under the sea vignettes, to bowls, cups and vases, to more abstract wall art and sculptural pieces. Everyone there was wonderful. Don't be fooled by the rather unique industrial entrance and "walk through the old factory vibe"... it's a warm, generous place that is welcoming and fun!

The people at Glass Arts Indiana, Inc. were absolutely amazing!!! Natalie helped me from the beginning by answering the phone to meeting me at the entrance, personal pumpkin selection assistance and she even helped me out to my car as I had my baby with me. Lisa was a delight to speak with as well and little did I realize until afterwards was my pumpkins artist. Thanks so much!!!

Lisa and Yuki gave us a lecture/demonstration on the techniques to blow and produce glass art. Fascinating! Very in-depth explanation of the skills and components that effect the color, price and design. This is also a great place to go to find one of a kind glass art for yourself or a gift.

The location was a little challenging to find, we had to ask some nearby strangers, familiar with the area, exactly how to get to it. But the experience was worth while. I learned a lot and I'll definitely come again
