Wheel throwing class was a fun local activity in a really cool location. We enjoyed going as a family and spent a day exploring the area afterwards. Jody the owner/ instructor was super informative and patient. We hope to go back and take another class. We had no to very little experience and ended up with two great creations each. Recommend for anyone looking for new and different staycation ideas or date night or friends day out. :). Especially fun if you enjoy discovering new activities. Make it an adventure and schedule a half or entire day in the fountain square area and/or mass ave.

My daughter had been asking to do a sculpting class. I found Get Dirty Ceramics. The classes were so reasonably-priced! We got her scheduled in advance. She went for the first time yesterday and she loved it so much she wants to go every week. We will definitely be back!

My daughter has been coming here for over a year and loves it! The classes are wonderful and it's nice that you can come when you want instead of having to sign up for a 6-8 week course. Jody is great with kids and the projects she puts together are well thought out and fun for my 7 year old. If you know anything at all about ceramics, you of course need to take 2 classes to complete a project. The created ceramic piece has to have time to dry before it can be painted and fired. That is impossible to do all in one class.

Their Groupon is a sham -- it's just not honest business to advertise a groupon for a discounted ceramics class, and then let customers know after the project is created and ready to be painted that they need to register and pay full price for ANOTHER class in order to complete and take the project home. That is silly - it's a total of about $25 for a class then. That is certainly not a deal. She claimed that it was written clearly on the voucher and website that a 2nd class will need to be purchased. That's incorrect. There is a blurb about a 2nd class to finish the project but no explanation or disclaimer that it will be at an additional price to finish and take home that SAME project.I am by no means thrifty and can certainly afford to complete the project, but based on principle alone, I will not pay extra to complete this project and I will just take my unpainted item home to paint.

My daughter and I love Jodi! She is patient and flexible. She gives just the right amount of instruction so we can learn to do it ourselves. She offers a variety of classes too!

We bought a Groupon for four people to attend a ceramics class. Originally our three oldest children (ages 3 to 8 years old) and a friend's 4 year old were going to lesson. However, the 4 year old got sick and couldn't go. The owner/operator, Jodi allowed us to create a piece for our 10 week old instead. She was very patient and provides firm guidance for the little ones. Our 5 year old declared it was the best day ever! Jodi said she'd honor the Groupon price so we can return in a few weeks and glaze the pieces. All in all we were happy with the experience.
