Our experience at Geraldine's Supper Club was incredible and simply fabulous! Our server, Savannah, was amazing--she really understood the menu and catered to my wife's pescatarian needs effortlessly. We started with a delightful salad and the calamari, which was hands down the best calamari I've had in some time! The standout dishes were the to-die-for scallops and my perfectly cooked steak, complete with an Oscar-style topping. During the courses off our meal, we also enjoyed some solid crafted drinks all made with Buffalo Trace. We opted to stick with drinks instead of diving into a traditional dessert. Those drinks were spot on! Between dining in decadently dimly lit Geraldine's main level near the bar and our server Savannah's attentiveness this made for a memorable dining experience, one I can't recommend enough.

The atmosphere is lovely. Old bricks. Iron workings. Exposed pipes. Huge bar with gorgeous lighting and love piano music. The food was just ok. I personally had the Devour menu but at the table we also had the beef Wellington, calamari (which was the best food of the night), French onion soup, wine and a margarita. Nothing stood out as spectacular. Two people (one was the Devour menu) with one cocktail was nearly $175 (on Devour) before tip. I wish I had tried the coffee service, and may return again to try that, but overall it was not special enough for me to return.

I have been to Geraldine's frequently as I live near by. It has always been a hit or miss, but I find it to be a local staple. We've even brought my company over for some events. My most recent trip for Valentine's Day has turned me off from the place completely.Let's start about the unpleasant woman on the phone who couldn't confirm my 8:15 reservation. It was showing up on open table but the person on the phone said they were booked. We arrived and were greeted by a server who was rushing us thru drink and food selection. The prix fixe three course menu was an astonishing $135 per person. When you charge more than Vida for its six course menu, I will hold you to Vida standards.First came out the crab cake and the salad. Supposedly the crab cake presentation was amazing. A fried oyster on top of a crab cake... nothing else. While tasty, I'm still confused about the presentation. The salad had way too much dressing and it was heavy on what I think was mayonnaise. The steaks were ordered medium rare. Mine came out raw, not even rare. My fiances came out medium well. We wound up swapping. Despite it being a ribeye, it was tough and full of tendon. Not a good quality ribeye. Honestly, it felt closer to top sirloin. The waiter offered to remake the undercooked one, but not the other. Strange. Then came the wrong desert. After that, we waited 10 minutes as our server helped others. Eventually, a red haired woman brought our deserts, with her frizzy hair touching our food. The opera cake was pretty good, but the praline was too hard. The soufflé looked worse than what you find at Starbucks these days. It was also raw.The server came with our check and put a lower priced bottle of wine for us for the desert mixup. But when he went to process my card, he changed the amount. I found this very dishonest and a final straw to an otherwise incredibly disappointing evening. Mind you, this was Valentine's Day.The food was awful, service lacking, and the dishonesty left a bad taste in my mouth. We got Shake Shack level of experience for the price of a Michelin starred restaurant.

Tucked away deep into the neighborhood streets of Fountain Square, this is likely the best steakhouse in Indy, certainly in the top 4. The steaks are grass-fed local perfectly cooked and melt like butter. WOW the flavor came through the grill marks. Our favorite is the French onion soup. Oysters were great and came with three garnishes. HIGH quality ingredients every step of the way. We love sitting at the bar observing the bartenders while the cello and piano player upbeat music and birthdays and anniversaries surround us, perfect for a late night dim-lit conversation :) feels like you're in Europe at this Indianapolis Supper Club!

Back home for a visit and found this gem. Fine dining establishment with a chill vibe. We had the best drinks. The mixologist guessed on drinks prepared for us and was spot on. BEST crème brûlée I have ever tasted! Steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The appetizers and sides were fantastic and perfectly prepared. The chef came out to see how we liked the food and was super nice. I will definitely stop here when visiting Indiana again.

We came here for my partner's birthday dinner on a Wednesday night. I don't believe that there is a designated parking lot for the restaurant, but we found street parking very close to the entrance. We had reservations and were sat immediately. The seating is intimate and you are close to other diners, but the space isn't so big that it feels loud. There was lovely live piano music and the service was good.We had a couple cocktails (dirty gin martini, espresso martini, and one other one off the cocktail menu but we can't remember - just that it was wonderful) and started with the oysters/caviar appetizer. Delicious! For our mains we did steaks and two shared sides, creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes. The amount of food was perfect and we actually had leftovers. While it was expensive, it was no more than any other steakhouse and we would return here before Ruth Chris since it had a more cozy, speakeasy, New York kind of vibe.
