If I could give this place a no star, I would totally do it. Here are my reasons... To be honest, I was so disappointed and embarrassed to the point I couldn't press "check-in" on my Yelp app...1) None of the men's and women's restroom were cleaned; it was super unsanitary to the point it reminds me of a dirty middle school or high school restroom. The toilets were all flooded and not flushed; couldn't even use the restroom even if I wanted too...2) There is no designated place to purchase the tickets. You have to go to the food counter and buy them there. The team member there wrote the transactions all on a notepad, there was no receipt, and no physical ticket showing proof I purchase the movie tickets. The security bothered to care if I told him I have my tickets or not...since he was standing in front of the entrance before entering the show area, I would think he would check tickets first Incase people sneaks in, but no... he didn't care, so it feels like ANYONE can just walk in. 3) The seat area was very old and run down; it definitely felt like no one cleaned this room, since there was still food on the ground and the floors were sticky. The chairs felt so gross, that I felt so uncomfortable sitting there for too long... I immediately felt like I needed to go home and take a shower because it THAT dirty.4) There were kids just loitering in the movie theater and movie hopping... Why aren't the securities doing anything about this? I'm definitely not coming back to this location... It's better off paying extra money for AMC locations for better experience and cleanliness especially. The only good part about this is that the student discount pricing made the tickets SUPER cheap, so it's SUPER affordable if you're a student. I really hope one day this theater gets a major renovation, if possible. I'm really sorry!

This was a good basic cinema. What I really liked about this place is there is a bit of diversity here. The chairs and the projection are older so you won't get the reclining chairs and such but it is a clean theater with all the stuff you will get at those other newer theaters. I suspect for this reason this location gets a bad reputation and initial ratings. BUT I would go back if in the area. We were staying downtown and had a few hours before dinner so this was a convenient cinema to go to.There is plenty of parking given the cinema is located in a mall. The area appears to a bit run down and depressed and hopefully it will pick back up. Conveniently located off the interstate so easy to get to.

So, I was totally wrong for not checking yelp prior to going to this establishment. So, to start with the parking lot was so scary dark. I had to make a decision between parking under the light super far away, parking illegally, or parking in the middle of nowhere. The facility was not very clean. The bathrooms in the front with dirty and So were the ones in the back. I actually told my daughter to "hold it" because I didn't want her to actually sit or squat over the toilet. This, was the very first time I ever said that. In the actual theater, it wasn't that bad. There was a faint odor in there.The only positive thing was that the theater was not very crowded. Other people probably already knew what a bad decision this was. Overall I was very disappointed.

Not your usual movie theater. NO BOX OFFICE, which made it very confusing during SOLD OUT theaters. There was a person selling TICKETS ONLY at a table up front but if you wanted concession items there was a very long line. TOTAL chaos when parties had pre-paid tickets and did not know where to go. I guess it's called Georgetown Cinema "Lounge" because they have tables and chairs in the lobby because you definitely CANNOT lounge or even recline in the theater seats. I did notice that the 2 movies they offered were also shown in Spanish. The popcorn was okay, the hot dog was very good, condiments were in packages which made it difficult to apply and the soda was more like water than the Sprite I ordered. I didn't complain because I the popcorn and soda was included in the price of the ticket. As I said, the seats were old and uncomfortable and the floor was EXTREMELY sticky. The theater was basically clean, even the ladies' room, considering the amount of people in attendance at the same time. Not sure why, but the movie started 30 minutes late because of something happening with the theater. This is more of a $1.00 movie theater, a $9.00 movie theater. NOTE: They offer a $3.00 popcorn and drink when you check in with Yelp!

PRICETicket and food costs about 15% higher than AMC Trader's Point just down the road (which is a much nicer theater). How? Why? ACTUAL MOVIE EXPERIENCE Blown speakers and super small screens. Seats had some yuck on them. STAFF + FACILITIES Staff was nice and it was clean, but do yourself a favor and skip this overpriced and underperforming cinema in favor of the one 15 minutes away.

Georgetown cinema is one of the few locations which plays the Indian movies along with the Hollywood movies. To start with they have a pretty big parking lot. The ambience is mediocre and you dont feel that premium movie hall feel as soon as you enter the movie hall. They sell Pepsi products and no coke for coke lovers out there. The movie halls are decent size but the seating is not very comfortable. The air smell little stale so over all movie experience is medicore

I absolutely Love this cinema newly remodeled popcorn is Delicious, an a Amazing Staff i highly recommend.

It'd been awhile since I've been here. You guys have really cleaned the place up. Good job! The theater we were in hadn't been cleaned up from the previous viewing there (4... Mary Poppins, 7 pm) so there's a opening for improvement. In the past, the theaters had a funky odor and I didn't notice any tonight.

You will get an average experience here. The theater is outdated but it's clean and the prices match the experience. I usually go here with my daughter for mommy daughter dates. We always go before 4:00 when the tickets are $6.

I should have went with my gut and not have came here this theater is dirty and on top of that they have the nerve to charge prices like the nicer movie theaters. The one good thing I can say is before 4 PM the cost is $5.99 and on Wednesdays its $5 all day and $8.00 for 3d movies other than that I have nothing nice to say about this place
