I love coming to this neighborhood brewery on the south side. It's always a warm and inviting vibe in here with the bartenders always super friendly and helpful when trying to discover what beer to get. The beer menu is extensive for such a small place. We tried the Guava Beer, the Pina Colada beer, and the oatmeal stout. I was a bit hesitant about the more fruity beers but the fruit really came through and it was not too sweet. Highly recommend this place!

The staff was super friendly and the establishment was clean. The bathrooms are super clean and decorated very well. The drinks were delish. My husband loved loved loved the seasonal Pistachio ice cream ale called Linders. They also had wine and I tried the white zin. We would definitely come back here. They also had parking on the side of the building . If you're hungry, they have you covered there also. They were offering chicken salads, hot dogs, chips, and pretzels. They also had games we could play while we had a drink. I love the ambience here.

What a cool spot! It was an old gas station which they turned into a brewery! They offer flights, which I wasn't aware of until after I had ordered. Bartender was super great! The patio area is spacious and there's ample room to hang out. They do have their own parking lot available. After a couple drinks, Garfield park isn't too far to walk it off. Cool place t check out.

For a brewery this place is five stars, and that's rare from me. I'll start with my only criticism: the inside is kind of small. You wouldn't want to bring a huge group here. The pros more than make up for that. The beers are amazing. They have a lot of options on their menu like IPA's, citrus IPA's, stouts, a bock, fruit ales, regular ale, wines, etc. There's plenty to choose from. I got one flight and then one beer. Everything I tried was amazing. They have a very limited food menu too.The location is actually really good. Some may hate on Garfield Park, but it's nice. This is extremely close to the Raymond street IndyGo BRT station. It's also right on a bike lane down Shelby street. You could take the present run creek trail there, too. Overall a great brewery that stands out from the crowded brewery scene in the area. Go try them out!

Absolute hidden gem if you like good craft beer. Unpretentious, stripped down local brew house, with a very relaxed vibe. Garfield is a neighborhood microbrewery with an awesome variety and selection of craft brew offerings - all their own. It's certainly worth checking out.

How have I missed this spot before now?! The cutest little brewery I've seen in a while, tucked near Garfield Park. Service was very friendly and the crowd was chill, mostly couples just hanging out and playing games or chatting with the bartender.Music was classic rock on the evening I was in, I'm not sure if that's standard or just the choice of the bartender (I love it, personally). They have a really nice variety of beers, not too IPA-centric, which is a great match for my taste. I sampled one beer which was a little heavy/sweet, so I just ordered something else. They had no problem allowing samples which has weirdly been an issue at a few spots around town. This is going to the top of my list when the weather is nicer, the patio looks amazing! (Although it is close to the road so I imagine it could be noisy.)

LOVE this smaller, local brewery! The beer selection is always a mix of unique (pb&j Porter anyone?) and traditional. The indoor space is bright and cheery. They also have great garage doors when the weather is nice, but a welcoming fire pit is nice on a cooler day! Lots of creative touches such as sugared rims or spoonful of pb. They have a small food menu for snacks. Always love stopping in!

Very solid brewery. 21+. They do the basics well. Have been a few times and nothing necessarily sticks out as unbelievable but not going to have a bad beer there. Renovated old gas station in Garfield Park with nice amount of outdoor seating. Good coffee shop nearby, remainder of area a bit underwhelming. Not a far jaunt from mile square of downtown or fountain square. Highly recommend if out brew hopping.

I love supporting nice people and these owners are the NICEST. They're so fun, friendly and do a great job at making Garfield Brewery a community spot for the neighborhood. They even have neighbors growing local hops right now, and they'll be doing a community hop harvest to make into a community-effort beer. Now that's cool. They have a big patio out front and allow you to bring dogs. If you have a dog with you, you can just sit outside and they'll come out to greet you. They also have a decent-sized inside with a bar area and tables to sit down at. They host Garfield Park trivia, as well as participate in a lot of Garfield Park events. Their beers are named after Garfield Park history and the goal is to have them all be very drinkable, approachable, and not too high in ABV. I'm absolutely in LOVE with their seasonal lemongrass ale. It tasted like the beer version of the lemon tea I drink every morning. Very summery! They also have a coffee stout and a popular IPA. They change the IPA every so often, and they're currently on the seventh version. They said that customers love to debate which number IPA is their favorite. Awesome owners, incredibly delicious beer, stellar community partners + a big patio?! Five stars for sure.
