Fundae's Ice Cream & Sweets

This is a nice frozen treat spot located in the heart of Speedway. There is a small parking lot and free street parking in front of the shop. The shop has a decent sized dining area and outdoor patio on the side to sit and enjoy your treat. The shop was very clean and trendy.They have a very wide assortment of ice cream flavors that you can get in a cup, a cone, or various waffle bowls. Some of the flavors include: London Fog, Kryptonite, Ube Chai, Chocolate, Butter Pecan, Turtle, pomegranate Swirl, Iced Latte Da, Rainbow Sherbet, Ultimate Ore, Gumball, Cookie Dough, Vanilla, Strawberry Cheesecake and Rootbeer Float.In addition to ice cream treats they offer cakes, cookie sandwiches, shakes, sundaes (fundaes), floats, malts, and banana splits.The woman working the counter was very friendly and helpful. Like most ice cream shops, they offer free samples of all the ice cream to assist you in making such a huge decision.I got a cup of the Exhausted Parent (yes, that the name), which consisted of bourbon spiked expresso flavored ice cream. MMM, yes please. The littles got a chocolate sprinkled waffle cone bowl of birthday cake and cookies and cream. My ice cream was pretty good. The ice cream did not look very appealing in the freezer and did not look very fresh, but surprisingly tasted pretty good. I was pleasantly pleased. I really liked my treat and my littles said that they liked theirs as well.The ice cream treats can be a bit pricey. I spent over $25 for me and my two littles' treats. We did enjoy our treats and I recommend that you treat yourself to a delicious frozen dessert if you are in the area.

Loved loved loved their selection! From blueberry cheesecake, rhubarb pie, peanut butter and jelly, etc. Upon arrival we were greeted with a long like that seemed to be taken care of very fast. I loved the friendly customer service and cleanliness of the store! Definitely recommend when in Speedway.

I was in Speedway to meet a friend and decided to check this place out. It was spacious and plenty of different types of flavors! I tried the Brownie Cascade on recommendation from the very nice worker behind the counter. I surprisingly...didn't like it. It wasn't creamy, the chocolate wasn't rich at all, and the caramel pieces tasted a bit off. The only redeeming part was the brownie pieces. All for a bit over $5 per scoop which I felt was pricey but then again ice cream prices probably have gone up in general since I last recalled. Overall, a bit disappointed but seeing all the 5-star reviews here, perhaps I just got a bad batch? Or just need to try a different flavor? Not sure. For more than $5 per scoop, I might just have to try a spoon of a friend's purchase before buying my own again (or taste testing there!).

We stopped in for a New Year's eve treat. As you walk in the place is very clean and lots of ice cream choices.I decided to get a milkshake. I liked the option of being able to pick two ice cream for your milkshake that puts a spin on your typical shake at other locations with one ice cream base. The shake cost $7 and was a decent size for the price.There is a lot of indoor seating. It would be a great place to meet up for ice cream and chat. There is even a large booth in the corner for a group of friends.

Nice little ice cream shop with a good selection of flavors. Got the cherry chocolate chip which I thought would be similar to Cherry Garcia, but not really. They use maraschino cherries, which was just OK. They do have a bunch of board games, so a cool hangout to pass some time away.

Fundae's is an amazing Ice Cream Shoppe on Main Street, Speedway directly across from Dawson's Restaurant. You'll find bicycle parking, free street parking (angle and parallel) and free lot parking next door behind Fundae's building in the public area then another lot one block away next to Bourbon & BBQ.This family oriented, locally owned business opened a couple years ago with 32 scrumptious rotating selections out of the 100 flavors made. Current rotating ice creams are listed to the right of outside door. The indoor menu is on the wall to the left as you enter. If you're looking for a flavor no longer in the case, ask the server if they still have it as it may have just been pulled from rotation. This award winning ice cream is made by a Company in Madison, Wisconsin for over 60 plus years. The high fat content provides a rich, creamy texture that you'll notice immediately whether in a cup, cone, waffle cone, specialty cone, shake or malt.If you have special diet restrictions, they offer Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Dye Free options along with Low Sugar, Yogurt and Soy Ice Cream. Check with your server to point these out if you don't find.Don't overlook the large stack of board games. Enjoy one of the many games while devouring your Fundae's treat for a fun adult or family outing. Into Caffeine, then ask about the 2 Caffeniated ice creams with more caffeine in one scoop than a Red Bull. Speaking of Caffeine, they serve locally owned Julian Coffee (in Zionsville) and offer Nitro Coffees as well.Checkout the Ice Cream Cakes, cookies sandwiches and individual pints in the freezer by the front door. The Cakes come in a 4" Baby Cake or 8" Cake made with 3 1/2 lbs of ice cream and serves 10-15 ppl. They need at least 24 hours notice for a custom made Cake with your option of cake, ice cream and toppings. There's usually 2 decorators on-site to personalize one of the pre-made cakes in the self-serve freezer.Another fun fact is Fundae's has an Ice Cream Bus for Personal or Business Special Events. How fun to have an Ice Cream Bus come to your location for a Team Building Event, Company Picnic or Retirement Party. Summer Weddings, Family Reunions or Sporting Events are just a few personal special events that would be a huge hit, too.When you visit you'll find happy people grabbing a treat while taking family/dog walks, runners, bikers, those looking for an after dinner dessert or just those who love rich and creamy ice cream. Stop in! You want be disappointed.

Such a nice ice cream shop in Speedway!! They have SO many flavors and I have really enjoyed it every time I've gone. The employees are nice and the space is a good size. They have free street parking so very convenient if you are just picking up ice cream to go! Love this place!

Awesome flavors!!! Delicious!!! Awesome staff!!!Something for all ages from salted caramel to bourbon flavored!!! Got mine in a chocolate dipped Oreo crumble cone. Fabulous!!!! Husband got a banana split yummy!!!

The ice cream here is so good and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you're not in the mood for ice cream right now they even have pints to go! Love the outdoor seating option as well.

I got a peanut butter with brownie bites, pretzels, and carmel in it. The aroma when you walk in was AMAZING. If a happy place is needed, you should come here. The only downside to the service is that you can split one scoop with two flavors. Other than that I would give them a 5/5. It was super cute inside. Clean. No wait time.
