My wife and i both got the steak and fried rice hibachi with vegetables and miso soup. All of the food was great and the take out was done in a great amount of time. Food tasted great. Wish they put tofu in the miso soup though. Tofu is cheap, my wife got 2 microscopic pieces of tofu but that was it. Other than that all the food was really great and we will certainly be back

When you walk in, you could smell the bathroom water. I feel like that's a pretty recognizable smell for most people. I'm just sitting down and looking at the menu that was oddly stiff, I recognized how oddly the menu is put together. The first issue I had was the spring rolls were not fully cooked on the inside, which is the first time I've ever experienced that they were very cold on the inside. The outside was hot very cold inside. It really made me concerned about eating anything else being that it was the first cook thing that I had but I would say that the salad was pretty good. I got the jalapeño bombs and they were OK but not much flavor. I got California rolls because that was really the only sushi I felt comfortable eating there because of the way that they displayed all of the meat. It didn't look very fresh and especially after reading some of the comments just a few minutes ago. I'm glad I didn't try the raw fish. The fried rice didn't have much flavor. And that's really all when it comes to complaints. The lady was very nice, but she at one point wasn't sure if she gave me the wrong lemonade and it was actually someone else's but I watched her bring me my lemonade back so I knew there was no mistake. The four positives are the waiter was a very nice lady that made sure that our table was cleared off and made sure she asked permission before taking plates instead of just taking them. Number two is the steak and how well it was cooked. I don't know if it was the quality of steak or just how well it was cooked, but it was Very good and not dry like the chicken. My fiancé got. The vegetables were actually pretty good too I'll tie that into number two. Number three the lemonade was actually really good, it didn't taste like sink water like it does at some restaurants. And number four and truly most important, having mild IBS and being able to drive 30 minutes home and still be at home in this moment, and I have yet to go to the restroom. Now, do I feel it coming yes. Am I talking myself out of going in there to finish writing this, yes, but I need to knock on wood before I say this, but I don't think they gave me food poisoning so that's good. Overall, to finish off this well written review if I do say so myself, they have to work on the seasoning of everything. I could go to many different places and get a lot higher quality food for just a little bit more in price. Now if you're looking for a budget , friendly hibachi date night or something of the sort, definitely a good option but here's how you order. You ordered the hibachi steak with white rice, not fried rice and you ask for instead of the sauce that they give you which is I think maybe Yum Yum sauce, you ask for teriyaki sauce instead. You'll have so much better of an experience when it comes to the food because the vegetables are pretty good. I would not recommend eating the sushi until they get that under control. Just didn't look very fresh but what I got looked pretty good. Definitely consider moving to maybe a laminated menu and not a very hard plastic menu. At last but not least please do something about that smell. It's just so strong. Now I will say I still did tip, with the review like this you think oh this person didn't tip, I still tipped not 20% but I tip something, actually tell you how much I tipped I tipped $10. The reason I tipped $10 was because the lady that took our order double checked with every item to make sure that she was writing down the correct thing now that may be annoying to some people, but it really makes you feel a little bit more confident that you're gonna get your order And it's not like one of those places that the waiter doesn't write anything down and then messes up the entire order, I got everything I asked for and didn't have to ask for it again

My daughter wanted sushi, and this was a perfect spot to pop in and have a meal, The sushi was good, our favorite was the salmon and avocado. Next time I go, I'll grab an extra side of veggies cuz my kid kept eating my husbands brocoli, carrots and goodies. The ambiance is def fast casual, with limited inside seating. I think they do a lot of to go. Service was good. We'll def be back!

Being honest upfront, the restaurant setting itself is *bleh* with a lackluster, minimal choice soda machine and a rather bland setting and basic table service. However, the important thing is the food is top-notch and a decent value. So I totally get why this place does a lot of to-go orders. In the time our family ate dinner, there was only one other table occupied but there was a constant stream of DoorDash drivers in and out of the place. It doesn't surprise me in the least because everything is good here. We had the Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll and Golden Philly roll and it was GREAT. Also had Hibachi Steak with fried rice and vegetables -- really good. And also, shrimp fried rice which was okay. We ended up drinking water because the sodas tasted a bit off, so for three entrees it was about $70. Will definitely order their food for pickup many more times!

I don't think you all understand, this business is very important to me. Whenever I have an emotional breakdown and I can't stop crying from law school, what gets me through the day is knowing that I live close to fuji sushi and I can eat all the sushi rolls, eggrolls, and hibachi rice. I live for yum yum sauce and fuji sushi if you don't order from here what are you even doing with your life, like what's the point of living in carmel if you don't order fuji sushi.

Solid spot for lunch. No bells and whistles. I ordered to-go and the food was ready when I got there. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento, steak teriyaki bento, and a Philly roll. There wasn't tempura sauce with the tempura, but it came with a spicy mayo sauce. The Philly roll had asparagus in it, which I could've done without. Pretty decent food and reasonably priced!

This is one of my favorite go-to sushi places! I come here often to dine in and carry out. The vibe in here is cozy/chill, and music is good and never too loud. You really can't go wrong with anything off the menu!

Ordered the spicy salmon. It was so mushy and falling apart. I immediately had to run to the restroom. While in there noticed a roach crawling across the floor! Server also took my card out of site when the register is right in the front. I will never step foot back in this place again! So gross!

First time trying this place. The sushi mango roll was good, but I cannot say the same for the hibachi or fried rice entrees. Neither had much flavor; luckily we had soy sauce at home. I was disappointed to see the steak just setting on top of the fried rice, which very little egg in it and only microscopic pieces of carrots. The zucchini in veggies for the hibachi could have been cut smaller. Diagonal cuts made for huge pieces that required you either bite a piece or use a knife to cut it. The positive, at it relates to the entrees, is the portion size, which were
