Fresko

These guys also have a food truck, and they are posted up at The Original Farmers' Market in Monument Circle on Wednesdays. That's how I found one of the best Cubano sandwiches I've ever had at Fresko.You gotta get the Cubano with everything on it, though. It comes with pork, ham, pickles, Swiss cheese, mustard and mayonnaise. The woman in front of me ordered a Cubano without mustard and pickles, and I wanted to slap the credit card out of her hand and tell her to just get something else. I don't even really like yellow mustard and pickles, but those two ingredients make the sandwich! The bread is wonderful and soft on the inside, but toasted and crusty on the outside.For a busy food truck, they were pretty quick getting orders out. The food truck menu is small, as it should be. If you're looking for a delicious and portable food to get at the farmers market -- something to eat while you're browsing the tables -- the Cubano from Fresko is it.

Their service was excellent and they have a small selection of food items. We tried the Asada fries and the Cubano. both were delicious although I do think that there needs to be more cheese and guacamole on the Asada fries. The Cubano sandwich was fresh and juicy. The service was awesome. I have never tried their food truck before but because it was next to a business on 46th St. I gave it a shot. I would definitely have it again. nice clean area and the bar had an outside patio that we could eat from the food truck.

Amp Indy is an interesting venue. I've been there a few times now both to play shows with my band and watch other musicians. There's plenty to see and do here in the venue!Fresko is a great addition! The staff are friendly and the food was prepared quickly. I got some fantastic street tacos. The tortillas were just right and everything was prepared fresh right in front of me. Service was quick, too.If you're debating between the different food counters at Amp Indy, Fresko is a great choice!

The Amp is one of my favorite places to go in Indy because of the innovation and collaboration that happens amongst vendors. Fresko is a great example of that, not only do they collaborate with the vendors but they source from other local places in Indy like Che Chori. Add this to your list as a stop- order one of their many excellent kinds of pasta but also just make sure someone gets the loaded fries... because well they are excellent and so filling you could almost split them. Not sure why you would do that but YOU could I guess.

After several attempts to eat here during the lunch hour, I was able to finally arrive on a day they were open (my biggest complaint is that even though I checked their posted hours, the lights were off. The good news is that I am glad I kept giving Fresko a try. I ordered the Beef Lasagna which was really tasty and though a bit pricey, I received a generous quantity of enjoyable pasta. The lasagna was so tender that I didn't even need the knife to cut it. Fork tender and nicely seasoned ground beef with a red sauce that was balanced between sweet and salty. I would gladly return to see what other items might win me over. You can get orders to go or make use of the open seating of the Amp food court. Just stopped in to try a new spot and was pleasantly surprised with the entree. Deal is 2 slices and a drink for $11. Delicious! Don't think this is all they have, they do pasta and sandwiches. It's worth the stop

So much on the menu looked good, but we only tried the Churipan and loved it! We had it bun-less and still enjoyed it.

Fantastic Italian food at the AMP! I had the meatball sub and it was excellent. The sauce/bread ratio was on point. The bread was wonderful and I probably could write a review solely about the bread. They give you a pager while waiting for your food which is great so you can explore the rest of the AMP. Will definitely return!

Fantastic. I am a sucker for a steak bagel type sandwich. This BLOWS McDonald's out of the water. Why would I ever go there again, when I could have an El Original. Ample seating and parking at The Garage as well. .

I attended a tour of the 16tech district and took a look around The Amp on my way out and knew I had to try Fresko after a few rave reviews from employees in the area. There was no line when I got there, the staff was very friendly and made conversation - more than just taking the order, the food was ready in less than 10 minutes and I could see it being made in the back from scratch, and it was warm my entire drive back to Butler's campus. The sauce did spill out of the box a little bit because of the generous helpings they give and the angle where it sat, so be careful where you sit it if you are taking it on the go! The food was amazing! I tell everyone I know about Fresko and if I need a pasta fix, I head there. Their hours are a little short right now, but totally understandable for their trial run at The Amp. They had a lot of other options and this is just my go-to, but I would highly recommend trying out this Latin-take on Italian food!Edit: They do have some free parking near the building they are in but you can pay a dollar to park in the 16tech lot, which isn't an issue if you are there for more than the food, otherwise you may have to look harder for a free spot to run in for lunch:)
