Fishers Farmer's Market

Wait for it!
Biggest dog I saw on the inaugural day of Fishers Farmer Market season.
Interesting cross-marketing concept. They promote their Sunday brunch at the Test Kitchen in the Fishers District.

Lots of food trucks. Next week I'm trying the BBQ'd turkey drumstick.

Went here for the first time on a Saturday morning. My husband and I took our new pup and we enjoyed walking around with her and hanging out on the grass. Overall the market was just ok. I was disappointed by the lack of vendors selling fresh produce. Despite this, people were mostly friendly, it was a good crowd and plenty of space to just hang out. We also found street pretty easy and not too far from the market.

The farmers market is a great experience. There is so many business that come out. Different variety of food that taste amazing. All of the owners are very patient, nice, organized, and understanding. Such a beautiful place to visit and enjoy with family and friends.

I really want to give this market 5 stars, as I love the setting and the vibe. It's the perfect place to come out for a morning and visit with friends. I love see all the happy dogs walking around, kids have a splash pad to enjoy, and there is live music plus grassy areas to sit. It feels more like a festival than a farmers market. Granted the market I grew up going to has changed, but it was a place you could get everything you need for a meal. Today the vendors were selling what seems like a ton of crafts, an insane amount of prepared food and drinks to enjoy, and very few fresh produce options. I know it's early in the season and I appreciate the market has rules around it here produce is grown, but I couldn't find anything to buy. They have rules around crafts, so generally I don't believe they are allowed which is sad because sometimes you find some beautiful work at farmers market. Instead it was kids selling bracelets. I'm hoping in the future they get a lot more product options, and the prices become more affordable. The broad ripple market seems to have more when I've visited both with more affordable pricing. Sadly the atmosphere isn't the same. So torn!

I am updating this review because each year is different. There are a few vendors I would like to try but I tried only two new vendors to me.I don't have a food allergy but was recommended by a friend to eat differently. Gluten Free Creations caught my eye, so I asked about their lemon items. They carry 3 such items. She pointed out the lemon drop bar for $3. The bar was delicious, and I would purchase again.Earl B Que is a food truck. The $10 smoked BBQ nacho caught my stomach. Apparently, brisket costs more. I asked for no pico and no sour cream. There were no jalapenos on it either. I picked out the tomatoes mixed in their cheese. The BBQ sauce had a little kick. My lunch entree was delicious.I am posting pics of other vendors at this year's market. My only concern is the parking. I tried a parking space directly along Municipal Drive in front of the library. It was EXTREMELY DANGEROUS trying to reverse as cars kept flying by so I kept honking as I pulled out. I wished I had a crossing guard or friend with me to guide me as I reversed.

IT'S BACKThat's right it is May 6th and the farmers, vendors, well-behaved dogs and their humans are here. The food trucks are here, the usual suspects--Rose & Lois' coffee & Bearded Bagel & Samara--with that gigantic breakfast burrito (don't worry, the EMTs are here too). In 2022 this market ranked 6th in Indiana. This year, the city is definitely reaching for Top 5. For the final hour beautiful music filled the air. Initially, I thought it was flute. Upon closer inspection it was a reed instrument amplified throughout the green space. The music, happy people, animated dogs, low clouds giving way to sun made the morning surreal. Chamber of Commerce experience for the introductory market of the season! Most vendors accept cards and a few only use "market bucks" pick them up at the Fishers Parks tent. If you can't visit the Fishers Farmers Market, support one near you!

Clean, dog friendly farmers market with great bathrooms. There is a splash pad for kids, lots of open lawn, and usually live music playing. I absolutely love the açaí bowls and bbq pork skewers! Ash and Elm has been selling 4 pack of their top selling and seasonal ciders here as well. I recommend coming early to beat the crowd and the heat!

Great farmers market with live music, plenty of lawn seating for a picnic, and a variety of vendors and food trucks. By 10am, the market was packed so I recommend going early. Parking is difficult but there is a garage and a lot that's typically more open all the way in the back.

Now with most of the construction in the area is finished, there's now plenty of parking. There's a wide range of products for just about everyone, handmade crafts, produce, meats, baked goods, honey products, take and bake casseroles from the Food Florist, and of course treats for dogs.

Late post from the summer. This farmers market is only 10 minutes away from me so really convenient. Decent variety in vendors but I was hoping for more fresh produce, only saw 1 or 2 stalls. Unfortunately the parking situation is a bit annoying, it's all spread out and people don't seem to understand how to maneuver around the different lots and connecting roads. Definitely go before noon to avoid crowds.

A lovely farmers market! Had such a beautiful day to visit the market here. They have a number of vendors and food trucks. You can get produce, plants, bread, ready made food/desserts, coffee, dog treats. So many options! Highly recommend getting a waffle with all the delicious toppings!! There is a large green space in the center where people can sit at picnic tables or picnic. Dogs are welcome too. There were public restrooms that were inside and in great condition. Parking is free public parking all around the area. Was not hard for us to find parking but we were there before 10am.
