Another satisfying visit. We went for breaded tenderloins today and they knocked them out of the park! (This is in my top 3 tenderloins for sure.) If you're not from Indiana, it's a whole thing. My other favorite on the menu is the Greuben, a fish take on the classic Reuben. The table had two of those today also. No complaints at Fire by the Monon. Service is consistent and food is good quality and not overpriced. Desserts are great too, even if we didn't have room for them today after the tenderloins.

Stopped in for a bite before a concert at The Vogue. Service was great, bartender was super friendly but the food was pretty average IMO. Fried pickles - fried sandwich slices, was hard to eat without the breading slipping off the pickle. Was fried well but flavor was just fine. Tenderloin - standard tenderloin sandwich, again well fried but nothing mind blowingFish & Chips - GF got this and could barely get through one piece. Huge pieces of fish but very dry & overcooked. She did like the sweet potato fries. Might be a case of ordering the wrong things (flatbreads & nachos that came out for other people looked really good), would probably give another shot as service was really good.

Stopped in for lunch at this quaint restaurant by the Monon Trail. Lots of windows making it cheery on a sunny day. Our server Jacob had good recommendations and quickly served us. We read good reviews on the pulled pork nachos. They make their own chips and load each chip individually, perfect way to serve nachos. They were delicious each one loaded with flavor. We also got the Grilled Chicken flatbread to go and talk about big, it was like a small pizza. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes.

Food: AMAZING! Get the fried pickles for appetizer. They're served in spears and the dipping sauce is . You should definitely get the tenderloin. They're processed and made in house and it tastes like it! So so good. Easily one of the bests I've ever had. Lastly, the grouper Ruben is one of the best sandwiches ever. It's blackened grilled and sooo good. I got mine with onion rings and they were huge!Service: Spectacular! From hostess to servers, I felt welcomed and was treated so well!Ambiance: Love how they have indoor and outdoor seating. There's tables and high tops and bar space. I love the feeling of being in a renovated home. Very cozy.

This restaurant was tucked away in a neighborhood. The berry salad offered a delightful mix of sweet, salty, sour, and crunchy elements. The flatbread was okay. Service was fast, and the ambiance was casual. Restaurant has parking, and outdoor seating.

Not welcomed with a smile. That's ok the server was very friendly and attentive. I had fried green tomatoes. They were greasy and the breading fell off the tomato when cut. My side salad was generous. Companions seemed to enjoy their food. Took home a tenderloin for husband. It was massive. We laughed at the bun size which looked so small compared. He said the tenderloin and sweet potato fries were excellent, even after a 30 minute drive.

First visit. No crowd because we were too late for lunch and too early for dinner (or drinks). Excellent server. Amazing food. Inventive burger. A comfortable, converted house vibe. Kid friendly. I am looking forward to returning. And, I would choose this in between time again!

We were at Fire by the Monon vbetween Christmas and New Years with family.As always the Grueben did not disappoint, fresh and tasty.One had rhe pork tenderloin and might be a future convert.And the mac and cheese with bbq (no pork) was a happy choice for the vegetarian.
