Food was good, need to go back to try more food, only had wet tacos. Service was good but was there for late afternoon and not many customers, only one waiter as far as I could tell. Ambience was spectacular, small parking space in front but huge parking space in the rear. I would call it a party house.

I really hate to write this as I wanted the review to be spectacular!. My wife and mom loved it their first visit on May 4th. I'll start with sequential order. We walked in and we're greeted promptly and welcoming! We sat down, the chips were room temp. The Salsa has little flavor. Very tomato based very little onion, tomato chunks, cilantro, etc. Chuy's and Burro Loco are tops here! The refilling of salsa on the table by The server using a Pyrex dispenser I've never seen before. I imagine a way to minimize waste but it is still odd. Looks like containers of V8 tomato juice being brought to the table. Not my favorite thing. So I ordered guacamole which was good! The Horchata was awesome! It was huge!!! The second basket of chips were hot! Yay! I ordered two chili relleno's, they tasted good, the beans were good the rice good, the problem is the food did not come piping hot to my table. I know the health department temp is 140. It was barely 120. Bacteria will grow when not hot enough. So the question is did the food stay hot and cool off but just had no one to run it to our table or are the temps really that poor coming off of the line? The cheese was not melted on the beans so that's a pretty good indicator of poor temps. Speaking of the beans, black beans? I've never seen that before at a Mexican restaurant. I didn't want to complain as I know they recently opened. The decor is amazing the neighborhood well not so great. The one really bad thing that upsets me is that my wife had to go to the restroom and realized in the car that this was probably the best place to go. She went to the toilet and it was terrible like it wasn't even cleaned last night. Stopped up, no paper towels , really gross just a bad place to be. That is the ultimate insult to your customers. There is no excuse for anyone managing a location to not have an inviting restroom this is not McDonald's or corporate entity that no one really cares because there are no owners. So it makes me wonder How many weak links there really are in the kitchen. The most critical issue for me is Food temps. Yes I've been in the restaurant business I know it's hard but every plate that comes across the line Has to be perfect. Obviously the cooks and the expediter and the servers, staff/food runners are not coached on this issue. If you don't believe me look at all of the not melted cheese on the pictures left by customers. A broiler top or even a 5 second blast in a microwave will do it but the core problem is the food is not 140 when the cheese hits the food! This is not good. Will give them one month to tweak the processes and hopefully this review will be taken seriously because I know that most people are silent complainers that just won't go back. I really am hoping the hard work doesn't get destroyed by poor basics execution. We are rooting for you! The Horchata was the best ever!

Stopped in this afternoon for a margarita. I must say the decor was absolutely beautiful and showed all the culture. We ordered margaritas and an appetizer to share. We got the bean and queso dip so so yummy. And one regular and one strawberry blended margarita. The size was good for the regular and the strawberry one was the medium. I do feel for myself it was a little on the sweet side but tasty. The wait staff was very friendly and I do recommend this place from our experience today.

Highly recommend. For one, they are open for breakfast which is amazing! From 8 - 3 for Breakfast and Lunch, later for dinnner. We had breakfast - Fajitas Chilaquiles with chicken and scrambled egg, and Andale Andale Burrito Breakfast. The quality is phenomenal and the portion is huge. The price for what you get is well worth it. The service was great and super friendly. Great recommendations and help. Prompt. The homemade spicy hot sauce has great taste and a nice heat. The mild is very good as well. The place is very cool on the inside. Very detailed decor and authentic. We were there in the morning on a Friday so the crowd was small but still good vibes and ambiance. We will be back and can't wait to try more things. It's a great Mexican place in Anderson! Can't say enough good things.
