One of the best Mexican restaurants in the downtown area (if not the best)! I went with the norteñas enchiladas and they are pure fire , seriously so freaking good. Clean plate clubbed it even though I probably could have (and should have) stopped after the second one.Service is always great here and it's such a good vibe. They also have an amazing brunch menu!

Enjoyed! This review is a bit late on posting... Not a huge menu but the right amount of options... we didnt have a reservation but they fit us in because it was early in the evening.. seemed they operate on a reservation basis so may be best to get one!

Let me start by saying that the service was 5/5. Our server took the time to explain things and suggest veggie friendly options. Festiva is on 16th street, close to Provider. It had a nice patio with a nice Mexicali vibe. We started off with guacamole ("best guacamole in town"). It was $11. Lacked acid and salt. The vegetarian enchilada didn't have great flavor, and the tortilla was sort of rubbery. The chips were pretty good. And my cucumelon gin drink was nice and light. But, the price of the entrees made this poor value as opposed to La Margarita where the portions are bigger and come with refills of salsa and chips. Without dessert, with two drinks, guacamole, and two entrees- it was $80.Festiva- worth trying once for the vibe but there are better options and cheaper ones as well.

I love this place, so for a work meeting I suggested that we meet here for dinner and I'm glad we did! The whole set up looks amazing, the staff is always friendly, attentive, and not overbearing. I had the watermelon berry aqua Fresca, so refreshing and tasty! The guac is my top choice in Indy, is it the pumpkin seeds? Pomegranate seeds? Maybe magic? Idk but it's delicious and I love it, for the main course I went with the tacos el pastor, I love the recipe here, it's a unique and savory flavor! Make sure to check them out when you can!

The food is very fresh and delicious - they also accommodate dietary needs like gf veg etc. The service was impeccable they we're sweet and attentive. The ambiance was cozy and romantic and we can't wait to go back. The cocktails we're delicious and they have some local spirits available like 18th st distillery. Both of our dishes we're hot and fresh and I was able to sub corn tortillas to make mine gf.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Indy!! The vibrant colors and decor are enough make you think you're actually somewhere warm. I've had almost everything on the menu (including the brunch) and I gotta say my favorite is the fish tacos. I'm so obsessed with them- flaky, juicy, flavorful!! I flip flop between the guacamole and the queso as an appetizer because they're both great. I try the seasonal margarita every time I come in and I've never had a bad thing to say about any of them. Fresh ingredients and innovative flavors. The staff is always super nice and it seems like there has been a steady longstanding team for a while. I usually see the same people working. Absolute 10/10 place!

We had a great dinner at Festiva that ended quite strangely. It was a beautiful night on the patio. Server was very knowledgeable and engaging. Made good recommendations. As we were waiting for our dessert, our server began telling other tables around us he was leaving. At that point, check delivery, final course and the remainder of the experience was weird. The patio filled up with general confusion for the new server. Really poor way to finish what had been a wonderful experience.

I try and get to Festiva every so often. Food and drinks have been excellent every time. This trip I tried the watermelon margarita which was great on a hot day. The Elote was excellent. They only have it on the menu during sweet corn season so get it now. The chips and guacamole are the best in town. I had the chicken tacos and the seasoning on the chicken was awesome. Looking forward to next time!

Love Festiva's vibe! The outdoor patio is where it's at, I particularly love sitting at the outdoor bar. The tacos are decent, but Festiva shines with its apps, drinks, service, and overall atmosphere. The rajas con papas and plantains are standout appetizers, and the guacamole is delicious too. The cocktails are great, with the seasonal watermelon Serrano margarita being a favorite of mine. We've never had trouble with seating, but we always make a reservation just to be safe.

Still thinking about this Livin la Piña Loca. If you like spicy margaritas this one is for you! And if you get drinks you might as well stay for some food too. We started with chips and queso which was not the white cheese a lot of people might anticipate. It was more of an orangeish yellow but it was still good. The Pollo con Mole Enchiladas were in my option just how they should be when you think of that dish. It was such a cute little restaurant. From the colorful outside of the building to the inside and vibrant food and drink options. The only downside would be parking. There isn't a lot of spaces so plan ahead for that or I did see some people bike, etc. and a worker was directing people once the parking lot was full.
