Our family hosted a reunion at the Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center and it was a wonderful facility to enjoy family, fellowship, food, and fun. There is ample room in this facility for hundreds of family members and a nice kitchen space to accommodate all of the good food that comes with family coming together. The facility is clean and comfortable. There is some outdoor space that we used to allow our grillmasters to do their thing. It was an awesome family weekend enhanced by the great space that allowed us to enjoy one another.

Cant be trusted, these people have been directed by their board to pay bills that they refuse to pay. Ladies in front office will ignore calls and even hang the phone up when you call. I don't see how anyone can trust this place with any type of business manners or with their children.

I brought my mother here on July 11th 2024. She's a disabled senior in a low fixed income looking for housing. We were told to meet with Ms. Maria who "doesn't play about her seniors". We spent an hour or so with her and another gentleman (who was very nice). We provided them with a ton of personal information just to be ghosted. We explained the seriousness of her situation. We were told it typically takes on average 21 days to get help but for my mother's situation it would be less. Ms. Maria never called my mother. My mother called at least every other day and left message after message just to never get a call back. About 2 weeks after I called myself and was able to reach her by getting transferred. She gave me a number to an apartment complex that she recently met with. I called them and they had a waitlist of 12 months and the rent was $1000. She knew my mother couldn't afford that so why even give us that info? And if she just met with them she would've known they had a waitlist. I felt like she didn't expect me to reach her and was just trying to get me off the phone. It's now September 26, 2024 and my mother has yet to receive a phone call from this lady. Based on our experience she doesn't care about "her seniors". It appears she just gathers personal info to create a case so they can say they are helping X number of people in the community to get funding. At the very least she could've remained in contact even if she didn't have an immediate solution. She could've returned a phone call, sent an email, or smoke signal SOMETHING! But instead she got my mother hopes up that she would pull through for nothing. Don't believe the hype about Ms. Maria. I will say everyone else there we came in contact with whether in passing or just in general was very pleasant. So I'm sure they help with other things but if you need senior assistance, this isn't the place.

The lady at the reception was very rude and disrespectful. She has to know the the program offered are not supported by her pocket so no need of puting any one down also even she knew the wright phone number that I need to reach out to.She didn't share it because in previous call she was giving and some how call dropped but when I called her on other day she said she don't know.I wish if such programs hire good humans whom they care about you when you are searching for the wright place of help.

The receptionist Jane never knows anything that is going on. Her common answer is "I don't know" and she is rude. Never able to get a hold of staff as they are constantly in meeting. Never return calls and/or bad with follow up. They promote programs but the people they hire or work there are never available except Ms. Baker who is very professional and responds within a timely manner. This community center needs better staffing and truly focus on the community. They always seem to busy or front desk don't have a clue who is in the building.
