Located in one of my favorite supermarkets. Heard on the weekends they have a brunch buffet . I love a buffet so was excited to try it.Its basically set up like a cafeteria. You pay for your food up front and then help yourself to the buffet. There is tons of seating. And the atmosphere is overall very open and bright. You forget you are in supermarket. At first I didnt have high expectations for the food. It was almost 11:00am and the place had been open since 6:00 am.They had eggs, two types of bacon, hashbrowns, french toasts, biscuits and gravy, fruit . All of the breakfast essentials.I have to say I was very pleased with the taste of the food. The sausage gravy was my favorite part. It was the perfect consistency. I was only able to eat one plate of food because I got full so quickly. Thats my only complaint about a buffet. Wish I could eat more. Overall, a very satisfying breakfast.Would highly recommend getting a coffee from their coffee shop,I think its a hidden gem.

Cute little spot. Quiet. They had it done up for Christmas... love that. They have little stations with games set up to play and a "fire" going. The guy was nice enough to put on the Army Navy football game that we wanted to watch. The food was just okay. We shared the Mediterranean Platter. It was okay. There wasn't enough pita served for the "stuff" to be eaten with. Everybody ordered the Niemann Burger except me. I ordered the Asian Wrap. Two out of the three burgers - the buns - were "stamped". That's a cute little touch. The cheesy mac I ordered with my wrap was not hot. I could tell it was not fresh. But when we took it home and stuck that in the microwave... so good. It was nice to see the guy with his wife and kids. Made my heart warm. The bathrooms are clean. There is a lot for parking. Would I go back? No. But I didn't hate it.

TL:DR Do not get the Sunday buffet. Everything was cold. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday. The very friendly woman behind the counter recommended their Sunday only breakfast buffet, which we took her up on. What a great way for first timers to try a bit of everything? It's $15 a person and includes the omelet bar. It does not include drink or if you want just one egg. Omelet, included, one fried egg, not so much. Dumb. I can't recommend the buffet at all. Everything was cold. The hash browns were hardly cooked and cold. There were two types of scrambled eggs were over cooked, dry, and cold. The bacon not very crispy and cold. The sausage was good, but cold. The only saving grace was the under seasoned sausage gravy is sitting on a hot plate behind the counter. When poured over the dry biscuit, it heated and moistened it up. Since I threw most of the buffet food away, I opted for a made to order omelet. It was meh. Not a lot of flavor. We definitely won't be back for breakfast and probably lunch or dinner. We wanted to come back for their pork tenderloin. Since breakfast, basic breakfast food, is pretty hard to screw up, I doubt the tenderloin will be worth the calories.

Menu offers salad, sandwich, and burger options. Added brunch options until 2pm on the weekends. Mediterranean platter was substantial as a vegetarian option. The falafel wasn't dry and the hummus was a flavorful and unique blend. The roasted veggies rounded out the dish. The harvest salad had a variety of veggies, not just a spring mix of lettuce, with a light vinaigrette. The mushroom soup was a standout, so flavorful and creamy. And finally, the Niemann burger was a hit at the table. Tender, moist, and flavorful. The interior is spacious, with a fireplace, different seating options for various group sizes, and a small stage for live music. The employees were friendly. They were knowledgeable and happily answered our questions about the food, and came around a couple times to check in on our experience. Wonderful customer service!

A new grocery story has come to Carmel, and with it, comes their made-to-order food service. And on this, right now they kind of have a monopoly on it. The restaurants within Kroger and Market District have closed, and the other grocers in town never had in-house restaurants.Harvest Market puts the Farmhouse Restaurant to the right of the main entrance, so while it is in its own area, you aren't completely isolated. The lunch/dinner menu is small but to the point. I was feeling basic, so I went with a double smash burger. Honestly a lot of places screw up the smash burger. They either overdo it, or try to stuff too much onto the burger. The double patty burger comes with a side, and I went with the cheesy mac. At $13-ish, I thought this was a solid deal.As for the burger itself, I think this stacks up pretty well to One Trick Pony in Fishers. Its tasty, you can hold it into your hands, and the ingredients were tasty but nothing overpowering the other. The cheesy mac was decent. I wouldn't order a full serving but as a side, it served its purpose.Of course the real question on this restaurant is its good now, let's see how it'll be in 12 months.

Farmhouse is the restaurant inside Niemann Harvest Market, a new grocery store in Carmel. Breakfast is served from 6 am-11 am, and lunch/dinner is from 11 am until closing. There's also a bar/lounge that opens at 11 am. We visited for breakfast, because I saw that there's a breakfast burrito on the menu. Breakfast burritos in Indiana are my yeti: I keep searching for a good one, but they keep eluding me. When I ordered the breakfast burrito, the kind woman behind the counter said that it was popular, and also huge. She gestured with her hands to show me how big. Well, FYI: The burritos are not huge, but a decent size. That's alright! Size matters when it comes to burritos, but what matters more is what's inside. Inside the breakfast burrito is sausage crumbles, scrambled egg, hash browns, bell peppers, onions and cheese, all wrapped up in a tortilla. It was tasty, but not quite the breakfast burrito of my dreams. I'm glad I tried it, though. We also got the biscuits and gravy, which come with either one biscuit or two. The gravy wasn't as hot as it could have been, but they, too, were tasty, and went well with an over-medium egg and a side of hash browns. The egg and hashbrowns were ordered a la carte. When you order an egg, it comes with your choice of toast, croissant or biscuit, and I had to try the croissant. The croissants are made in-house, and it came out warm and toasted, with a side of freshly churned butter that they churn at the grocery store. The croissant was probably my favorite breakfast thing that I ate. Also the coffee is fantastic, and you get free refills on coffee.I will definitely be back to Farmhouse Restaurant to try their lunch and bar food snacks. And also to visit the bar, because it looks like they have a good selection of wine.

The Farmhouse Restaurant is inside the Neiman's Market on 116th in Carmel. We had some grocery shopping to do, so decided at get a bite. We got the 12 piece fried chicken meal from the deli counter. It came with 2 sides. We ordered Macaroni and Cheese and Mashed Potatoes. The cost is $27.99. Our favorite grocery fried chicken is at Publix in Florida. But since I'm not in Florida right now, and there isn't a Publix in Carmel, we gave Neiman's a try. It was very good. Nicely breaded and good flavor. Better than Publix? It was good enough that I'd have to taste them side by side to decide! They told us they make the fried chicken fresh here every two hours. The Mashed Potatoes were a bit bland. We took the left overs home and my wife will "doctor them up". However, the Mac & Cheese was wonderful! Very cheesy. My wife really loved it. The price seemed a bit high. We get 20 pieces at Publix for $21.99 vs 12 pieces here for $27.99. And that is Naples, Florida, high prices. But Publix price does not include the sides.... So, I don't know...We would definitely get the chicken and macaroni again. I'm not sure we technically ate at The Farmhouse. That may be the "made to order" counter next to the deli. I'm including a pic of their menu. Overall, though, Neiman's is a nice market. Local product and great produce prices when you come in the door. We like shopping here.

Since we had such a lovely meal last time, went back again about two weeks later (late Sept 2024). This time, hubs ordered the chicken parmasean sandwich, & I had their philly cheesesteak with a cup of seafod gumbo. Hubs was expecting a big piece of breaded chicken with pizza sauce / maranara, but it came out with no sauce and was chicken cut in a bunch of little pieces. So it was not what he expected and he didn't want to eat i/ sent it back, which they graciousy refunded. I thought my sandwich was good, but a tad too much oil. The seafood gumbo is pretty packed with shrimp. Between the soup and sandwich, it was very filling! Still a #yum #ReviewsByRL

So it appears that the salad bar, chicken wing bar and soups/ sandwiches are all one one side and then on the other side is a more upscale version of the same restaurant which offers fresh local foods. I got the Mediterranean wrap and as a side I got the Chicken Velvet soup. If you've never tried Chicken Velvet be sure to get this! It's amazing!! Friendly service, however, because they are new please be patient and allow a little extra time in your wait. I sat at a table on the side where the Harvest Market is and it was a bit busy and louder. I stepped into the upscale side & it was quiet and classy. I plan to return for a date in the near future!

Even though the restaurant was mysteriously closed yesterday, they were back open the next day. The food was excellent.
