I'm not sure what this venue is typically used for but I went here for my sister in laws wedding reception. My mother in law said it was great because she was able to set up the reception ahead of time. The venue itself is very industrial. It is also very spacious. My SIL had a guest list of about 250 people and there was still plenty of room to spare for walking around, mingling, dance floor, etc.I liked the vibe of the place. Really cool. There was also a seperate nice big room (possibly used for other events or small gatherings) that the bridal party could leave all their belongings and bags. As well as get lined up and prepared to make our entrance into the large reception room. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. Nothing fancy but good enough.I'd reccomend this venue to someone for a reception or event space.

I attended a wedding at Factory 12 Event Center on yesterday evening. It's a beautiful space. It's in Downtown Columbus Indiana. It's a beautiful and spacious place to have a wedding or any other type of social event. It's handicap accessible with a ramp leading into the building and a elevator as well. Also catering is included when you rent the space you cannot have an outside vendor any beverages or food. It's pretty easy to get there from Indy it took me about 45 minutes.

I was rather disappointed with this venue. My fiancé and I were very excited to be married there due to the beautiful space. The Staff was not very good about communication. We were cancelled on twice the day of the meeting and meetings have been forgotten about until we showed up for them. Which typically is not too big of a deal but we live an hour away and need to schedule time to come down. We were told there would be able to use the space for our rehearsal the night before our wedding but when we reached out to schedule the rehearsal we were told they do not do rehearsals. We would not have been upset if this had been the plan from the beginning. There is also a lot of different people you have to go through for catering and alcohol. It is highly suggested you use the in-house caterer but there are three different people you need to speak to. When attempting to plan everything we got the feeling no one spoke to each other or communicated in any way. It was rather frustrating to be planning a very important event and having to stay on top of the Staff. Ultimately our wedding was beautiful and our guests loved it. We do believe this was despite the staff and not because of them. They are nice people but I encourage you to look at another venue.

We just had our ceremony and reception at the Loft in Columbus, our hometown. I've known many women to have their receptions there and it's always the same feedback...beautiful space and everyone dreads the process because of the owner, who manages the venue and all your needs (linen, bar, food, etc). She has no attention to detail, is very forgetful, doesn't appreciate your business or money and is downright rude at times. Also, the base fee for room rental doesn't seem too pricey but you will be charged for every little thing and charges at times will just appear on your invoice so I often had to triple check everything. I'd suggest for other brides to choose another venue so you can actually enjoy the planning process.
