Epic Ultra Lounge

Came here for their Vibe on Wednesday (which isn't weekly I don't think) and had a GREAT time! The show started on time, which was nice, and the only downside is there are not a lot of seats. You definitely want to get there early (unless you don't mind standing).The bartenders where great and had drinks made quickly and strongly ;) There is food available but I never saw a menu so I have no idea what's available exactly. I smelled chicken and saw a few taco plates go by.If you're available on a Wednesday stop by and check out some local talent and newbies.

Band outside and too bad overall. You can go in for bathroom: then park out in from of the band to listen to it. A little interesting: didn't stick around as it was not what we were looking to do. So if you want to stop into this bar/ liquor store you should. Yes it has a liquor store connected to it: makes it so you never run out of liquor. Lol that was kind of smart.

To start! I must say I have discovered a hidden gem. I visited this establishment on a Saturday night. Wasn't too packed however they had a good crowd. The crowd was mixed so that's a plus! The only thing I couldn't decide on was which was better their food or the actual vibe of the party. I discovered they sold food midway through the party. I believe their well known for their tacos however I had a taste for chicken wings. So I ordered garlic parmesan wings and fries. I received I believe 8 winglets. All totaling $13 not bad. Reasonably priced. On to the good part... The food was hot when I received it. The wings were flavorful and crispy. They weren't drenched in sauce. The perfect combination! I definitely will be a return customer

I always have a good time coming here! The staff is friendly and make sure to take care of their guests. Although small in size the decor is sexy and gives off classy vibes. The kitchen makes some of the best chicken in the city (lemon pepper to be exact)! Sundays and every other Wednesday are good for open mic, poetry, & local talent while Fridays and Saturdays are ideal for night events and day parties/matinees for both public and private occasions.

I have no idea why I keep going Epic...each visit, I question myself. Is not too far from where I live and it's one of the few clubs on the Northeast side that friends in my age range decide to go. I mean, there's not really many lounges or clubs in the area. Anyway, unless you are attending a specific event at Epic, the crowd on the regular are upper twenties/lower 30s folks who want to "turn up" (party). Epic's crowd is not really you're grown and sexy group, but not completely "ratchet" (distasteful) either. It's sits somewhere in between the two. The club is very small. The space is not really well laid out and not designed to be a club...and if they did, the designers created the space poorly. Overall, I always feel claustrophobic when I come to Epic. There's two VIP areas: one that raises slightly above the dance floor and one on the dance floor. The room between the bar and the VIP on the floor is cramped.I will say on me thing I like about this place is if you are here for the regular weekend party scene, they do sell food with their alcohol. Thus, if you get hungry, you can get chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, or anything else that might be fried. And hey, when you start drinking, eventually you get hungry! Lastly, like a typical club, they do offer bottle service. The last time I went to Epic (Jan 2017), they had started to incorporate a presentation I'd seen in St. Louis where they use sparklers (yes, fireworks) to bring out bottles. I'm not really sure why the Epic staff think this is a great idea in their small venue. When I'd seen this in St. Louis, I was attending an event at a huge club where there was enough space when you saw bottle service coming, one could get out the way. Whereas at Epic, the space is so small that bottle service was struggling to get through the crowd. Yeah, sparkers are usually harmless, but it just seems like a concerning fire hazard.

We love this place. Fun, safe spot. DJ doin' it right. Some nights live music & singers! Food from the kitchen is delicious. Try the combo platter. And the staff is HOT! Great service.

Great time with good food. I usually make my own fish tacos and won't try anyone else's but these were damn good. Great music and ambience. Lounge feel with dancers near the stage. My girlfriend and I come often for a great time. Well known djs come in all the time. Great for hosting parties and events.

Eh. Totally feeling underwhelmed. The music is terrific but not enough to make me stay. We got here about 843p and will be leaving after I finish this Shock Top.The bartender was dry I mean no martini needed. She didn't tip my glass to pour my beer. I waa bummed. That's part of the reason I pay 6 and up for my beer. Give me some flair.The seating in spacious and a bit much. I feel like they could close off paeta1 of this bc its too much. No One is in here!! Its pretty but not much going on. Maybe because we're early birds that we're not getting the full affect.Shoutout to The Indiana Pride of Color!!!! They provided lively conversation but still not enough to stay. I truly hope they succeed in their vision. Overall this experience will allow me to come back and give it a try. Its such a beautiful place. I'm sure they will offer something amazing.

Trash.. I placed an order through DoorDash for a swai dinner which was supposed to be ready at 2am Friday evening. Come 2:47am I still have no food and they have the door dash deliverer waiting out side. Come to find out an employee said the order was cancelled by the customer. If you gone lie, don't lie on the customer...rule #2 in business, right behind the customer is always right. Niggas I tell you, shit like this is why black businesses don't get the support they should... ignorant shit

$18 for a double of Patron which is cool if it's actually a double! Im a bartender and I had to say something before the "bartender" free poured more in which never equaled a double like this place is trash I'm cool on returning. $5 cover and they're ripping people off at least have some real damn bartenders. Ratchet mess. Oh and the "bouncer" was extremely rude, obnoxious and uncalled for!
