Emmy's Original Pancake House & Grill

Ordered pancakes, bacon, and a chicken wrap with fries and everything came out great. The chicken wrap was huge for the price! I ordered my chicken Buffalo flavored as I do at other places and here it was much spicier. Just a heads up. This wasn't my first time eating here and I've never been disappointed.

I just moved to the area and am slowly trying out new places. My boyfriend and I love Lincoln Square and so were excited to try Emmy's! I was very pleased with our service and my cinnamon french toast with a side of bacon. prices are super affordable. it's classic diner food - nothing out of this world, which is way it's only four stars for me. i love a classic diner and am excited for this to be a new spot.

The FOOD was very very good!! The Service was wonderful!!This restaraunt has a casual atmosphere. No need to dress up ladies or gents. It is so clean that you could eat off of the floor. But personally, I prefer to eat off a plate! The waitress who served us so sweet. When I asked if the sausage gravy had a LOT of sausage in it? She said there is an ample amount in it. Then she brought me a sample of it! I didn't ask her to, but it was so nice of her to do that for me. By the way the gravy is yummy! It is definitely a place you must go to. The prices are very reasonable. Their servings are not skimpy either.

A wonderful little diner on one of the busy strips in Avon. Place was comfortably busy, but had no waiting on a Monday at 10:30am.Rockville Scramble was just the right portion size for me. Pancakes were a little dense, but nothing an extra slather of syrup couldn't tackle. Coffee was STRONG - perfect for a diner. Overall, I was pleased finding this little gem. Hope to be back soon.

I know one thing for sure and that's you can't go wrong going to Emmy's! You can get anything from breakfast to a meal. My personal favorite is their Eggs Benedict!! I get it for breakfast or lunch! And being a little disabled I always get curbside. And no matter what the weather is like, the staff has big smiles when they bring me my food to the car. They are so friendly and courteous!! I've also tried many of their lunch items and everything has been delicious. And the helpings are so huge I always have enough for two meals!!The only bad thing I can say about Emmy's is that they close at 3:00 pm. So a late dinner is out of the question. I think if that's the worst thing I can say, then you better go there! You won't be disappointed!! And if you don't want to go on, then order curbside!!

This was a hidden gem, a friend of mine who lives in Avon didn't even know about. It's only a few minutes from her house so she said she definitely be making her way back. It is definitely an old school pancake house and what looks like it used to be a Chinese buffet restaurant Building at least. The menu was pretty extensive. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all times of the day. It has a party room to the right when you come in a large center area with tables and then another side with booth to the left. We definitely wanted to try the pancakes since they were in the name I ordered an omelette the country omelette, and changed out the green peppers for mushrooms, and the waitress was really accommodating about that, I also had my hashbrowns slightly crisp. My friend also ordered an omelette with hashbrowns. We each ordered a pancake mine. I had blueberries, put in it and on top they came with my breakfast. There is an additional surcharge that I didn't know about it and wasn't told to add the blueberries of $1.49. The waitress took this charge off the bill because she hadn't warned me about it before hand. The omelettes were delicious. They were light and fluffy and airy and the sausage gravy on the top was just enough and not drowning the other food. It was delicious. the pancakes were not. they were a little overdone so they were not light and airy. they didn't have a lot of flavor, except for the blueberry compote that was on top. Would I order the pancakes again, probably not, but I would definitely come back for the omelette. The service was terrific. Our waitress was very attentive, very helpful and always smiling. The atmosphere was really friendly and open. It was a great experience.

Emmy's is one of my favorite top 2 breakfast spots. Located in Avon off of Rockville Road/U.S. 36 in the same strip center as Rural King (Beechwood Center). The strip center provides an abundance of parking. The line moves quickly and they do a great job clearing tables. Even if folks are standing outside, check the waitlist since often it's only 15 minutes. They take names at the left end of the counter and hand out pagers while checks are paid to the right of the counter. The menu covers all the standard breakfast categories, including benedicts, and many excellent lunch options. Biscuits and Gravy is my favorite along with the skillets and omelettes. Many of the entrees are served with 2 sides with hashbrowns, pancakes, toast or biscuits. Waffles, Crepes and French Toast are another good option for those wanting sweet options. Lunch options include healthy choices, burgers, salads and sandwiches and more. A children's menu is available for those 12 and under.Food arrives quickly and the servers typically take great care of us. Occasionally, if they are packed we might have to ask for more coffee but seldom. Used plates are removed quickly and checks are delivered timely.Emmy's is open 7-days a week from 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and they have a strong carryout business.

We normally don't go for breakfast or brunch too often but if we're near Avon this place is so good we keep coming back. Service is great and although it gets packed fairly quickly we got lucky and got a spot right away. Ambiance is nice, nothing fancy looks like a cozy diner. I had the steak and eggs, my bf ordered an omelet and we shared some pancakes :)

The Service was friendly. The Food was good. Nothing extraordinary but it hit the spot. Your basic pancake house/lunch spot in suburbia.

Went there over the Labor Day weekend for breakfast, great food , service was very good , Ally is great waitress, very kind soul, Ambiance was very lively, tons of waiting, be sure to get there early
