I was in town overnight for a work trip. The company booked the hotels for us which can sometimes be hit or miss. For me, this place was a hit. The room I had was modern and clean. There was a well appointed office space for finishing up last minute work projects. The bathroom was beautiful and the vanity outside the bathroom itself made getting ready a snap. My favorite part about staying at any Embassy Suites is the breakfast. There is something for everyone. The dinning area has plenty of space to accommodate a busy morning. This review also includes reviews on the catering and event services. The night of our arrival I attended a company hosted dinner. The room was spacious and set up for easy traffic flow. The servers working our event were helpful and professional. The food service was delicious. Buffet style with chicken and beef options along with salad, veggies, and potatoes. There was a chocolate layer cake for dessert that was heavenly. The following day, we utilized one of the conference rooms. The room was spacious with comfortable seating. We were able to have a fair amount of people in the space without feeling overcrowded. The four-star rating is because of the slow moving elevators. During my stay, there were only two working elevators for the 14 or so floors. This caused exorbitantly long delays moving around the hotel. Hopefully the second set of elevators is back up and running.

Well, the staff here are great and the rooms are fine. However, management is not on top of hotel maintenance. Although the entire hotel was booked out this weekend for an event, half of the elevators don't work.The entrance issue is a real problem. Uber/lyft drivers constantly get lost trying to find this place, and it's a bit of a schlep from the hotel down to the street. The workaround we used was to exit the hotel, walk down the ramp, and then put in a nearby location (Tony's restaurant) as our pickup location. Overall, not completely terrible, but I wouldn't stay here again on purpose.

This place did a great job of welcoming the swifties for the weekend. We were able to check-in early which was helpful. They had Eras tour signs and friendship bracelet making stations and T-swift music playing in the background. Super friendly staff that were excited to be a part of the big weekend in Indy. The suite was spacious with a small dining space and living room separate from the bedroom. Mini fridge and microwave. Comfy bed! They even let us bring our dog ($75 pet fee) and they loved him! Perfect for a weekend getaway stay.

This is got to be the worst hotel. I stayed in in a long time. I think I stayed in motels that are better than the air. The air conditioner was running raggedy making noises all night elevators been out of service for several months. There's holes in the walls the ceilings have paint chips the only thing good with the breakfast

My daughters and I did a staycation here for a concert at Gainbridge this fall. The parking situation here ... I'm not even sure where to start. We parked in the attached parking garage, which looked like it had recently had some major damages--think big concrete chunks laying around, rebar, barricades. The ceiling was very low, turns were tight and it was pretty dark throughout despite it being the middle of the day when we parked. It felt like an adventure in itself getting into the hotel and finding the front desk. The elevator signs in the parking garage were confusing about where to exit to get into the hotel. Eventually we asked someone and they directed us to a different floor, where we then had to walk down a ramp, out another set of doors, and back into the parking garage where we barely noticed the hotel entrance due to a bunch of construction barricades.Once you're in the hotel, you have to go up an escalator, and THEN you finally make it to the front desk! The front desk staff was pleasant upon checking in, and we got a couple of happy hour drink tickets to use between 5-7. Swimming pool was fine, but there were a couple of maintenance men milling around in the pool area "checking the lights" for a long time, which eventually made us uncomfortable enough to leave.The rooms were unremarkable. Sort of a motel vibe with all the windows facing into the hallway. Overall, I thought this hotel was extremely expensive (over $300 for one night with tax) for what we were getting, but I understand demand drives price and it seemed to be a peak time downtown. I would definitely suggest looking elsewhere if you're planning a stay downtown--there are much nicer and less expensive hotels in the downtown area.

Very disappointed, when we arrived the location is under construction, this was not mentioned earlier. To enter you have to go trough a ramp which is awkward. Once inside there was about bunch of kids running around up and down the elevators, seemed like staff wasn't worried about it. We decided to go to the pool and there was about 20 teenagers jumping around and fighting and playing football in the pool, while there was 4 and 5 year olds inside the pool. Then when we decided to go to sleep, the constant monstrous noise coming from the heating system kept us awake. Once morning came and we decided to take a look out the window in to the city it was impossible due to the grime on the window. Not worth the stay here for the price. I have had better stays at motel 6 at half the price.

This has been the worst travel week I have had in my 45 years of travel. 1. The hotel has no front or rear entrance. To enter and exit the facility one must walk done the same driveway that cars use. 2. Housekeeping cleans rooms every four days if they are reminded on day 4. Raffle type tickets are provided to participate in the afternoon managers reception. 5. Engineering never fixed my toilet the entire time I was there. 6. Most housekeeping staff speaks no English whatsoever. Not even yes and no. 7. When I finally got a housekeeper to agree to clean my room she asked if I also wanted my sheets changed. 8. Even after my room was cleaned I had to go out and find my own toilet paper. I guess you get the point. Never again!!

Everything was a nightmare from start to finish at this hotel, from messing up my reservation which I had made 2 months in advance for a gymnastics competition , to not getting my upgrade and being given the run around about our upgrade and being promised a next day upgrade , our room having a humidity problem room 1024 the floor is all buckled a d the window gets so much moisture that runs to the floor and it soaked all of our luggage that was on the floor under the window , it was to late when we noticed it the water had already seeped on all of our luggage , everything that we talked to manager at fro!t desk about he tried to change our mind or double talked us a out everything. They even went as far as to change the card that we used to pay for our room and used our bank card which I took off the app so it wasn't used , left us without any cash on hand as it put a hold on both cards and it couldn't be released to us over the weekend because of they're mix up ....just a miserable stay all together and really makes me think rice a out embassy suites now as our last 2 stays have been bad ...... probably will never stay here again

Loud and dingy, in need of a makeover.Thin walls made it difficult to sleep. Fitness center was tiny and had very little equipment for a property with this many rooms. Sink and tub both leaked in my room. Breakfast offering was okay but needed more fresh options. Too many other options in downtown Indy for this level of amenities.
