If love Mexican and margaritas then this is the place for you!! I had the arroz con steak and it was absolutely delicious! I still dream about it lol I also ordered one of the jolly rancher margaritas and I have no words besides... you need to try it! The staff was amazing and a joy to be around. Not to mention how cute the place looked. I'll definitely be back soon!

I've passed by 100 times and never stopped, until today. The restaurant is huge, upscale, really nice inside. There are many tv monitors playing a variety of sports with no sound. The bar is lovely, with top shelf liquors in sight. We were seated in a cozy booth. Complimentary chips and salsa came out quickly. The chips were fresh and good. The salsa was chunky and delicious. Alicia, our server was friendly and attentive. She and the manager checked on us multiple times. Service was definitely five star. Periodically, the manager would burst into song as he walked around, creating a festive happy vibe. We ordered lunch specials. The prices were decent. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The plates were hot and beautiful, even artistic. I had steak street tacos. The tacos were delicious and the tangy sauces spiced up the steak. The beans were fresh made - light and good. I loved my meal. My husband had a combination tamale, burrito and beans. The tamale, covered with a mole sauce, looked amazing. He said his meal was perfect. There is a nice patio, where you can bring well behaved dogs. There is a fire place outside that would be inviting on a chilly evening. When we left, the manager opened the door and thanked us for coming. There is parking in the shared lot with accessible spots in front.

El Toro is a good Mexican restaurant. We ordered the El Toro Fajitas for $19.99. It came with beef, chicken, and shrimp.... with the quantity of each being in that order. There was a lot of beef, and I liked that. The fajitas were served hot and sizzling. They were accompanied by a plater of rice, refried beans, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. My wife and I split the fajitas and had ample food, with the complementary chips and salsa. We didn't have any left overs to take home, but we had enough to eat.Unfortunately they do not appear to have great drink specials. Whatever you do, if you like saving money, do NOT order the pitcher of margaritas. It's $22 for 32 ounces. You can order one 16 ounce margarita for $9.... so why not get 2 for $18? I'm not a mathematician but last I checked, 16 ounces plus 16 ounces is 32 ounces. However, even with that, we thought the pricing was a bit high for 16 ounces compared to some other Mexican restaurants we have visited. So, while we went in with the intention of getting a margarita, we ending up sticking with water. They have a good outdoor dining area. They have large garage type doors that open to the patio. Service was friendly and prompt. Sometimes I feel when I sit on a patio I get overlooked by the servers. This was definitely not the case here. And, I think that since the patio feels like a part of the restaurant, this may help. We asked for no bell peppers on our fajitas and that is the way they came.... always nice to get your order filled the way you requested!

The service was not very bueno. The wait took about an Hour. We arrived and ordered at 6:15 and got are food at 7:20, we thought about leaving. I got the Arroz con Steak, Rice with steak. The food was fine but a little cold. The thing that really set me off was that the table behind us came in about 20 minutes after us and got their food in about 10 or 15 minutes, again we did not get our food for an hour. The other thing is that it was not very crowded either, so I don't know what was happening. The Arroz con Steak was not worth $15.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Zionsville! the food is amazing! People is always nice and ready to serve you as best as they can. On summer specially, the environment is really cool, music, football and sun is perfect for a Sunday brunch.

Got chased down in the parking lot for taking plastic patron bottles after the waiter specifically told us we could have them. It's fine if we couldn't have them but we asked and got told yes and then got treated like criminals. Maybe educate your staff so customers aren't told something that isn't true and treated like crap for the waiters mistake!
