Pretty good Mexican spot in whitestown. I thought it was really expensive for what you get. And service was meh. I ordered a burrito with Queso on it because I was in the mood for something cheesy. The menu explicitly said "cheese sauce" which is why I ordered it, however when it arrived at the table it had shredded on it. I asked the waiter about it (since I ordered this burrito specifically for the cheese sauce) and he said nope it's shredded and offered to give me a side of Queso for $1.99. Kind of ridiculous. Suggest they update their menus to be a bit more accurate!

I meet a friend for dinner this week and I was craving Mexican so we went to El Rodeo. And I am happy we did. We were seated immediately and another gentleman brought us chips and salsa. And then our server was there getting drink orders. This all happened within minutes. The salsa is a bit spicy for me. I would be happier if it was a bit milder. But we ordered queso also and it was cheesy prefecture! I went with the #17 for dinner. A burrito, a taco and a chalupa. The burrito and the taco both had ground beef and the chalupa was refried beans. I would call the chalupa a tostada. But maybe that's just what the shell is called I don't know. Next girls night out when we are in the mood for Mexican food we will be back.

Love El Rodeo! The food is always on point. I have yet to have a bad meal and I've been many times. It's laid back and chill vibes. The staff is amazing! My favorite item is their frozen peach margarita with tajin rim. Chefs kiss!

Great food, friendly service and a reasonable price for the quality of the food. I got the Bowl and it was wonderful, along with the Corizoqueso. Highly recommend !!

I was in Indy for the day this week and was looking for a late dinner near I65 on my way back north. El Rodeo was the only good place off the Whitestown exit that was still open at 9:00 (Thursday evening). They were very friendly and got me seated right away. Service was good and fast. The seafood burrito was marked as a new menu item. It was really good a nice hearty portion!

Overall pretty good authentic style Mexican restaurant, been here twice now since moving moving to the area. The food always comes out pretty quick and the portions are what you'd expect. Chips and salsa are good! They do have vegetarian options and great tasting margaritas and daiquiris! The bean burritos, cheese enchiladas and bean tostadas are all great here! They also of course have great authentic style queso which u can add to ur plates as well! The interior has plenty of seating and a few diff rooms with booths and tables. There's also seating outside in the front on the patio. The price is about the same as most other places, maybe slightly higher because of the area.

This is a nice clean restaurant but the food left me wanting more. I was served my chorizo tacos with just chorizo on them. I did not get a side of the "salad" or anything. However when I asked for them to go I did receive the salad packaged up. The margaritas were alright but the jalapeño one was not very spicy. I will give it another try just not overly impressed.

This is the Whitestown favorite Mexican restaurant and a part of the El Rodeo chain. They were very busy, almost full on Tuesday night. We came with our dinner club. The restaurant is only a couple years old nestled in a strip mall. There is an outdoor patio overlooking the parking lot meant for warmer weather. They were understaffed for the large crowd with only a couple servers. Complimentary chips and salsa were brought to the table and drink orders taken. The menu is vast and the nightly special was 50 cents off the Rodeo taco salad. I chose shrimp tacos for $12.99 which came with rice and beans. The food came out quickly despite the crowd. The flour tacos were filled with fresh shrimp and onions served with pico de gallo sauce and a hot sauce. I smothered the tacos with the pico. The tacos were good. The rice a bit dry and the beans ok. The meal was filling. We were able to sit comfortably and converse. All in all, enjoyable.

The guacamole had no flavor. I have had much better chicken soup at other restaurants. Dinner companions said their meals were so so. Even the mild salsa was too hot to eat. Go somewhere else.

I found a black hair in my food. They brought me a replacement meal and refused to take the meal off my bill.. not to mention it was Mother's Day. Extremely disappointed in the customer service here. We will not be dining here ever again.
