I cannot believe that I have been missing out on this place and it's just down the street from where I live?! This place is great! I finally decided to check it out and was surprised to find out that they offer a variety of Latin cuisines! From Peruvian to Mexican food. I loved this. I decided to get the Peruvian ceviche appetizer, followed with three tacos (carne asada, cecina, and chorizo), and topped it off with plantains for dessert I was satisfied! All were delicious! The salsas were on point, really loved the red spicy salsa. I did not get a drink, but noticed they serve champurrado, which is my favorite winter drink! I will be returning for it and trying out their daily (M-Su) buffet! That is correct, daily buffet! Highly recommended for take out. I will keep you posted on dine-in. The host were super nice and accommodating. There's free parking nearby. One can call ahead for take outs.

I traveled to Indianapolis for business and was fairly happy with El Rey! Their tacos were made to perfection with the right amount of meats, seasonings and portion sizes. Their other items on the menu like the Carne Asada were also quite tasty. My favorites were the barbacoa and Pollo tacos! I have ordered from them twice on different days of the week and it was stellar both times! This is definitely a place where I would order from again just based on the adequate amount of seasoning and generous portions of meat in each item ordered. Enjoy!

This place was absolutely awesome, and for many reasons. The first thing that makes this place great is that they have an all you can eat buffet. Their menu offers several different Latin American cuisines. They have several caldos and tamales options. But, I chose caldo de cameron...per usual, and ventured out a bit and tried their tacos pastor y carne enchilada. Holy smokes, that carne enchilada was so spicy! The taco pastor was very tender, and the caldo was flavorful and savory. It was all amazingly delicious! I definitely recommend this authentic gem and will be back once my mouth cools off and the next time I'm in town! Next time, I'm going to get the buffet and the plantains!

The pupusas were delicious, and the yucca and plátano was yummy too! My tummy is happy to be full of Central American goodness!

Terrible food, portions of the rice and beans are double of the normal, then the portions of main entree are twice smaller. Carne asada plate not look bad, actually have the tasty looking plate...until we smell the meat and discover are old, based in my personal experience as a Chef, is at least a week old. Never back to that place again.
