El Patron Mexican Resturant

Visiting family from out of town and they've been really craving Mexican food. I live where I can get Mexican food everywhere so I wasn't really feeling it anyways.Easy to order over the phone. Pickup is not a problem. Prices and portions seems about average. You get chips and salsa with each to-go meal.The cons: They forgot our drinks with the kids meals but still charged us.The meat was overcooked and not tender at all. I ordered the chicken burritos and the sauce on them was sweet and strangely tart at the same time. I wished I could scrape it off and get a good salsa on the side. It was FULL of onions and it overpowered the flavor of my burrito. Half the people who ordered weren't impressed unfortunately.I will not be returning when I visit again. I'll go to IGA for a tenderloin

Today I took the family to the new restaurant in Clay City and I thought it was very good. It is very clean and nicely decorated. The service was very good. The prices were a little high but so was the quality. We thought the food was very good. We will be back. This restaurant is a nice addition to Clay City. Rarely do I give a 5 star rating but this restaurant deserves it.

I come into town for work so it was nice to have another option to eat at. The servers were all very polite and I enjoyed the food. I had the pollo acapulco which is chicken topped with grilled peppers, onions and shrimp. The rice was fluffy and not hard which I was expecting it to be which was a pleasant surprise. The refried beans were also very good. I've eaten here 3 times now and just order the same thing. If it's not broke. Don't fix it. Also the chips and salsa are good and the cheese sauce too.

Great staff affordable prices. Food is delicious. One of the more popular places to eat here in our little town.

The food is great everytime. The portions, seasonings are always the same each visit no matter which cook is working that shift. The staff are friendly and fun to talk to. They are great when we walk in with a large party.

This restaurant is great. It has extremely amazing service with friendly staff that will never forget to top off your drinks. The food is on par if not better than other Mexican restaurants I have been to.

Typical Mexican restaurant but service is very good and quality of food was good too. The only thing that is disappointing is there is no liquor or beer here so there is no option of a margarita which I love with Mexican food!
