El Maguey

My chorizo torta was good: the bread was soft, and the sandwich included sliced avocado and refried beans in it. I don't usually order tortas, but the menu here is so long and overwhelming, and the torta was the item I landed on when the server came to our table to take our order. I don't regret ordering the torta, though -- in fact, I think it turned out to be a smart choice.They have a kids menu, and a burrito is an option. I got two burritos con arroz y frijoles, and when I asked that cheese be added to the inside of the burrito, no one understood why anyone would ask for cheese inside a burrito, and they kept asking if I wanted cheese on the outside. If you've read my other reviews about Indiana Mexican food joints, you'll know that the definition of a burrito is fluid here, and can be anything -- including a plate of beans with a tortilla folded on top. I think the kitchen just decided to ignore my request for cheese because the kids' burritos didn't have any cheese, either inside or outside. Whatever -- I just told my kids to pretend there was cheese in their burritos. Also: The burritos from the kids menu are super small. Almost like they are made with fajita-sized tortillas. Just keep this in mind if you have a child with a large appetite.We also got enchiladas, which came out cold. The chips and salsa were OK. Overall, the price was very high for a family meal that was just mediocre.

This place had the biggest sopes ever. Everything was so delicious and huge. Our server was so helpful. She told us the sopes would be huge too lol. Every one enjoyed their meal. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't even packed

Great management. Food takes longer than it should, salsa is authentic!! Rice has been mid the last few times and a little soggy. But management alone makes me go back! Queso is really good! As well the mega chimichanga!

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant. You won't be disappointed with this entree. It is delicious!!!

I have gone to this place for 4 years now and this is my go to place for authentic delicious mexican food. Yo tengo 4 anos viendo hay este restaurante Mexican y la comida es tan rica que tendrás que regresar por mas te lo juro !

La comida rica. Pero me tocó una muchacha tan horrible! Me trajo la orden equivocada y después tiene la vergüenza de decirme que yo era la equivocada y se me enojo y todo. Gordiflona

This is my second visit this week! I rarely come to the west side but when I have to venture here to get my car worked on the WEST side has the best authentic Mexican restaurants! My service guy at the dealership recommended this place and the service is friendly and food is delicious!Forget CORONA and enjoy a SOL instead!The first time I came in someone played the juke and it startled me how loud it was lol. From the outside the parking lot has some serious parts of pavement that needs work but you cannot miss the building because it's bright YELLOW!For some odd reason ALL the windows still have Valentine's Day decorations too and it's already almost end of Feb! Haha.I LOVE the regrows beans and rice!! The best I've had yet!

the food was astonishing , the service treated me like i was a king. The area was a nice atmosphere.

The food is alright, but they have no AC at all inside. It's actually hotter inside than it is outside. I recommend only ordering takeout if you choose to eat here.

Rude service I was argued with I didn't order what I did even though I came back not even 10 mins after I left an having to wait all that time the food was terrible 3/10
