The food here was delicious! Happy to find a great Mexican food in Indiana. Please was clean and service was good. Worth the drive from Kokomo.

I have ate here 5 other times all were great. We actually changed our traveling itinerary to stop in for a meal here. The food was so sub par we had a hard time believing they were the same Resturant or owners . My husband had One toco and two enchiladas that looked and tasted as though they had been sitting out under a heat lamp most of the day. Very dry with little to no flavor. I had a Indiana Burrito. On first glance it looked lovely stacked high with fresh green lettuce , I like lettuce but not as much so I shoved it aside That is when all the water and what looked like milk and meat flowed across my plate. The Burrito was a new sort I have had wet Burritos before but this was beyond that. I went in search of the beans they to were so wet and gooey you could not tell they were even beans. On the positive side we were served chips and salsa very quickly. Drinks were brought promptly although we never received refills. Our food was brought to the table in less than 4 minuets so perhaps it was already prepared and they tried to microwave or steam it. Not sure what. Sad to see a business go so far down hill. We waited for check finally just got up and went to register noted that there were 4 men standing around in back of register not one ask how we liked our food or if anything was wrong. We just paid and left. I know I should have complained but we had just come back from a hospital trip in Indy and my husband was not feeling well. As I said we changed our route to stop in there. We are from Lafayette. I think we will stick to our favorites closer to home. My recommend is to stay clear of this establishment, something has changed there. Note positive review one year ago on this place proceed with caution.

Ok looking from the outside. About what I'd expect on the inside. Slightly worn, dusty, dirty corners, but basically clean. Cashier was fairly prompt. We had trouble understanding each other Menu on the internet didn't match what's on the restaurant menu. So I had to rethink. I decided to get a tilapia, shrimp, meat, mushroom soup. This order was a take-out. Restaurant wasn't busy, but I'd say wait time on my order was acceptable.Order was very hot, large container of soup and large order fried tortillas. I didn't realize it was going to be this large. I HAD asked for a child size or smaller portions, but they didn't do that. Paid for my order, took outside to eat in the car. Great, Figures, no napkins, no silverware Nothing I'd planned on having a hot meal before driving an hour drive home. Guess I should've eaten inside. I didn't want to go back inside so decided to save soup for when I got home. Biggest mistake I've ever made.Soup was still hot when I got home, yet, meat, fish, shrimp even the mushrooms and vegetables tasted like cardboard. The juice itself was so greasy and Jalepeno hot, that everything Was Totally unedible. I immediately had to toss it. I live in a neighborhood with over 160 different nationalities. Even have multiple Hispanic family members. So I'm comfortable with spicy food. Big difference between spicy food with indepth seasoning, compared to flaming hot peppers with NO seasoning. Let alone no flavor from the cardboard meat, shrimp, fish vegetables. I would have returned it as I spent almost $15 for a container of soup, fried tortillas and sauce. Yet I was an hour drive away. Total waste of time and ruined my evening.Couldn't even eat the tortilla chips as they were greasy

This Mexican restaurant is the best! Really enjoyed the food and great service!The el jaripeo taco salad is the bomb!

This place is always busy, so we thought it must be delicious. It was not. It was clean, but rundown. The food was okay. I would eat here again if I had to.

Visiting family in town and decided to visit this restaurant. Had to get a margarita, which was very good! Our waiter was not very nice and brought out the wrong meal and then blamed it on us ordering wrong. The food was okay. Don't think I'd come back to this place.

Everytime I go the service is always good and I'm met with a smile and friendly welcome. The food is fantastic. I recommend anyone wanting good food and a pleasant atmosphere to stop in.

Very good food. Chili con carne is exceptional. Salsa fresh and flavorful. Generous portions, attentive service. Nice crowd. Ice tea freshly brewed. Full bar. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking. We were passing through and needed lunch. As usual, wherever we are on the road, the local Mexican restaurant didn't disappoint. Highly recommend.

Margaritas were meh, food was ok, rice was over cooked. Queso was good. I'd stick to appetizers

Decent Mexican food. Good service. They work hard to do a good job.we can almost always get a table quickly. Sometimes you have to wait in someone to take your money, as you pay a cashier on your way out. Atmosphere and decor could be better, but I don't go there for that. It's a solid restaurant with decent prices.
