I do not recommend this place at all. I have given it it three times with their bread but every time it's hard stale and they have an over flow of it. Not sure why people keep going to it. But my last straw was ordering a cake for my baby's birthday party they took the order took my money ($45) and told me at what time it would be ready. Simone called and left a voicemail that did not give any explanation whatsoever and when I called back to see what was going on no answer no response (I was calling like a toxic ex smh) yes. That much smh. Went to the location they had a note on the door they are boycotting the U.S due to the immigration policy. I'm all for whatever movement you want to follow. But I needed my daughter's birthday cake. I'm so disappointed you could've went someone else and gave them my money. Now they deleted their purpose and I have to shop at an American store that they were trying so much to avoid. Necesitan mejorar en todo. Fui hacer una order de pastel para el cumpleaños de mi hija. El pastel fue pagado por completo! Aceptaron mi orden y me dijieron a qué horas iba estar listo.

When I want a unique variety choices for Mexican desserts, I go here. Especially after picking up tacos from wichos next door. They have flan, chocolate flan, rice pudding, tres leches etc. the people are very nice and it's actually a bakery so that is their specialty with a plethora of items to choose from. I got the chocolate tres leches and tres leches and I couldn't decide which I enjoyed more so ate both.

Love that we weren't the only ones going late at night for some sweets. The place was packed at 8:30pm. Fully stocked with lots of pan dulce.

I had seen some friends had reviewed this place and since I know my wife really likes crispy Mexican pastries, I persuaded her to ride with me to try it out.She headed on in while I was still in the parking lot. She grabbed the standard tongs and metal tray (standard for a Panaderia anyway) and was soon hunting the shelves for her favorites. Most are behind sliding glass doors, but some were still sitting on racks waiting to be added. Check out had a slight delay, but was minimal. They have a wide variety of pastries to choose from including some I was not familiar with. They also sell hot coffee, beverages, snacks, and do have whole cakes as well.As far as quality, the flavors were really good. Maybe because it was late morning, the texture was a bit chewy. The crispy ones were still flaky, but there was a definite bite required to get through them like they had been sitting out a bit. I also ordered one with jelly and the jelly that was visible on the outside was the only jelly the pastry had. It may be standard, I don't know. But it was disappointing.Overall, good flavors just not quite as good as the one about ten blocks away.Review #3116

I'm so surprised El Globo has such few reviews as I find it one of the best pan places on the westside. And you can fight me on that!Immediately upon entering the aroma of ~baking~ engulfs the spacious corner bakery, nothing overbearingly sweet just the smell of fresh bolillos and a hot oven hard at work. Everything is well arranged with a couple of refrigerated cases storing cakes, flans, and lots of beverages including my favorite, Boing juices. They were getting ready to stock the cases and I deviously went ahead and stole some fresh pan from the racks for home, sans regrets. I'm currently obsessed with their miniature conchas, I find them so irresistible. Any color, any flavor, grab a couple of trayfuls, just in case. Their prices are unbelievably reasonable, I paid under $8 for a few churros, conchas, and bolillos. Their tres leches custom cakes are pretty delicious too, and I'm a picky judge. We've had them custom made for birthdays and they really deliver great quality and wonderful prices. There's so much to love at El Globo, I sure hope more people will discover why this is a fan and family favorite for sure!

El Globo Bakery has been open for months and doing well. Always customers from early morning till close. This is a Mexican Bakery with very little English spoken but enough to get you in and out. Large or special orders can be placed at the counter. After you enter walk to the cashier counter, grab a metal tray and tongs, then select from the large selection of breads, pastries, desserts and cookies. Most everything is oversized and it's hard to make a decision. I usually just shop with eyes only and try several things. The raisin pastry, Coco Flan, doughnuts and regular flan is delicious. Coffee is also selfserve at $1.00 a cup. Nothing fancy or a Coffee House but a decent cup of coffee. Great to see a business holding their own providing a service the neighborhood supports.

I was trying to purchase 5 dozen donuts for a client and I was going to be on this side of town. I called to see if they took American Express and they said they did not speak English and then put me on hold and hung up on me. Then I called back and they picked the phone up and hung up. So then I called from my work phone and asked the same question when they answered. They said they did not speak English and no one there spoke English. Unfortunately I was not able to give them business. Im ok with the language barrier but not ok with being hung up on....twice

Just moved to Indy and had to find a good panaderia . So happy to find El Globo after trying other Panaderias that were just ok. I love their mini pan dulce! Sooo delicious! Also tried many other of their treats and everything was great. We will definitely be going back!I was glad to see their hand washing station at the front door during this time of Covid19. Everyone who comes through the door must wash their hands. Way to go
