FYI, this location is under new ownership and is completely different from the last restaurant that was there. The owner Rosie is so kind and caring. She might even be your waiter for the evening. The food is incredible. The salsa and chips are super fresh. The salsa is just the right flavor and not spicy however they will make a spicier one for you if you ask. The burritos are the biggest I've ever seen and covered with queso. Can't go wrong with a lot of queso. I've been to this place twice and from the 1st moment I knew this was my favorite mexican place eat above anywhere else including Arizona. The atmosphere is amazing. The decorations are very fun and colorful. Love the wood furniture outside. The music is perfect and will even get you dancing in your seat.I highly recommend this place!!

This is a nice little shop tucked in the west end of Morse Reservoir. We went at 2:30p on a Saturday. The place had past the lunch rush and wasn't quite to the dinner crowd. There were lots of staff on hand to serve, prepare food and make us feel welcome. The facility is very clean and open. Not much decor like you would see at a traditional Mexican restaurant. Our waitress was vey friendly and professional. She even made the tamales! The chips were very crisp and tasty. They were a bit greasy. The waitress did an excellent job keeping the chips coming as we were hungry. The salsa was inconsistent. The first batch was very thin and had a watered down spicy taste. In this batch the salsa dropped off the chip. The second round was thicker. It had a fine chopped consistency. It was much easier to scoop up and had a nice fresh taste. There was some spice but not much. The waitress did bring us a bottle of hotter salsa which was very hot!My wife ordered the tamales. She thought they were very good! I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. The shrimp plentiful however I thought they were a bit over cooked as they were a little chewy. The white was was very good. It had a smooth cheesy taste without an over powering cheese taste. Some Mexican restaurants will serve their white sauce with a slight seafood flavor. This was a little more bland. The rice was soft and spiced like you would expect - very good! The refried beans were tasty though I thought they were a little thinner in consistency than I would prefer.Overall very good place to eat! Give them a try!!

This place is AMAZING. It's by far my favorite Mexican restaurant I've been to. The service is amazing -- they're always extremely friendly and accommodating for bigger groups and kids. I first had the steak quesadilla and it was so good I didn't want to branch out but I have forced myself to try new food and I have not been disappointed with any food I've ordered. Their steak and chicken have such good flavor and their queso is unreal. The ambience is really fun, my one year old son loves the flags and always wants to touch them.

What a treat! Fast, clean and good. My son had the chicken tacos, and said they were the best street tacos he had ever had. I tried something new - from the House Specialties page. Arroz Dos de Ori is like fried rice tumbled with Bacon, chorizo, chicken and lettuce and onions and some cheese. TOTAL YUM. I got it with corn tortillas and basically made tacos with it. A large portion, I brought half of it home and my wife devoured it for supper. I'll order that again, but I also want to try some of the House Specials.

Not sure why this place is empty on a Friday night - the salsa is some of the best I've had, and the food is tasty. Service has been fast and professional as well as friendly.Very good about the ol shrimp allergy too.A real hidden gem, and I'll be back!

This is the definition of 'hole-in-the-wall'. The food was excellent and the margs were even better!! The chips and salsa were great especially if you like a spicer salsa that's not just tomato paste. Definitely recommend and our server was great!

You know those places that are on TV shows that need saved by Chef Robert Irvine this place fits that to the core Not even sure how long this has been open but it's sad. Dirty. Sloppy paint over the last crap place that was in there. The menu was not very easy to comprehend we aren't in Mexico not sure why they made the menu like you were in Nogales. The service was laughable like the "chef", being generous with that title, was cooking 1 meal at a time and they brought the food out like that too. One plate. A few mins later the next plate. And so on. I know everything costs more these days but the prices were not inline with the location decor and quality. When you're warned not to touch anything in the bathroom by someone else in your party that already went in there that's a great sign to right? Any family, person, investment group that is looking to open a Mexican restaurant in this area go to Los Agaves in Westfield and look how it should be done The place shouldn't look like it's been there since the 80s and never updated when I know that couldn't have been there under that name for more than a year tops Skip this place. Go to los agaves or toros might have to wait but worth it

We went shortly after they opened. Service was a little slow, but the food was good. I ordered the carne asada. We never got drink or chips and salsa refills, nor did they check in on us once the food arrived. I think at this point they were running understaffed. I will give them a few more weeks to get the kinks out and give it another try, as the food had really good potential.

Party of two, second visit. We were a little skeptical as we'd come last year and both ordered a variety of fajitas which we thought were bland. This visit, we were both super pleased with our meals. See pics. The Loco Burrito had everything under the sun in it and was crazy (haha) good. My enchilada plate was also very yummy. The sauce was a little sweet like a mole sauce, and made for a very nice blend of flavors with the corn tortillas. I'd order again! We also ordered a side of queso which was great and improved the chips which I didn't care for alone, or, with the salsa. The salsa was a little weird, under salted maybe? The chips weren't warm and crispy. I'd up the rating to five stars if they improve these. Drink selection is minimal here and the frozen margarita machine wasn't running this night but that didn't matter to me as I'm a simple, on the rocks, girl. I had no complaints about my drink. Overall, would highly recommend this place.

Ordered Steak Tacos & got tongue mixed in with pork. Not steak. Bite into taco & get this. About threw up lost our appetites told the waitress she says no that's steak. Couldn't explain the tongue in the meat just said it was fat pieces from the steak. Rice and beans arrived before the main course. Waited 10 min after beans and rice to get the tacos one bite in and get this. Lost appetite got bill and paid bill left. Will not ever go back needless to say very disappointing. Gave 1 star because it didn't allow not to post no stars.
