Eddy's Neighborhood Bar & Grill

It definitely had a waterfront vibe. We had lunch outside on a Sunday and had a good view of the water until the parking lot filled up, then we couldn't see the water over the cars. The server and hostess were super friendly. They had a menu with the daily specials on top of their menu items so there's lots to choose from. I was on a health kick so I ordered the turkey burger with a gluten free bun. It was just ok. I always regret ordering the healthier option. I should've learned by now to just order what I really want. My mom loved her sloppy joe.This was my first time visiting the marina/Geist area and it was pretty cool.

I have to say, Eddy's is always our faithful go-to. Well, Valentine's Day dinner there was horrible. The hubs and I both got the filet special. Both ordered medium. Hubs came out medium rare but he said it was fine. Mine was RARE!!! Barely warm. I hate to send food back, but I had to. A very nice young man agreed it was not medium. Got it back and it was medium rare. I ate around the edges and left over half on my plate as I just could not eat it like that. Our server never said a word. Guess I should've stuck with my chicken and cheese quesadilla. It may be a while before I'm back here.

While we had to wait for a table, it was really busy, and they seemed shorted staffed for this Sunday, seeing it was a beautiful day. Our waitress was awesome and had great recommendations. We started with the jalapeño chicken strips, with two amazing sauces. I can't remember the names, but we took them home with us. My wife ordered the southwest chicken salad and loved it. I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich with fries. The fish could've used more seasoning. Sitting outside just made the atmosphere even better. Music was on but not loud.

I absolutely love this place on Geist - intimate setting and really good apps (love the grilled chicken tendies, all the wraps are stellar, and then sweet potato fries are my fav. James and the staff are TOP TIER

A very bright clean place just feet from the lake. Waitstaff were all pretty friendly.I had the steak kebab, which was pretty good. Plenty of tender steak and vegetables. There's also a great looking patio that we skipped since it was in the high 80s, but we were in the minority.Would recommend for the food, location and atmosphere.

This was my first time dining at Eddy's, but not my last. While most suggest Wolfies in the area, I was more impressed with the food at Eddy's. I may have just been hungry, but my entire meal was good. Stopped here for an early lunch at the suggestion of my cousin who comes here all the time. While Eddy's doesn't offer the view, I think the food makes up for it. It wasn't crowded when I arrived just before noon on a Tuesday afternoon. I was quickly greeted and seated. Drinks were offered, and orders taken quickly. We got the Old Bay seasoned steamed shrimp as an appetizer. I got the Smokehouse burger for my entree. It was all tasty and flavorful. It was filling as well. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go back soon!

Friendly service, but the food was a let down for all five of us. The Fall Creek Salad was just greens and not much else. They forgot the salad dressing and the chicken was dry and needed seasoned. Chicken Alfredo had onions in it which was odd and they missed the sun dried tomatoes that was supposed to be in it.Buffalo Chicken Wrap looked like a five year old rolled it and it tasted about as good as it looked. Swiss & mushroom Burger was alright but they forgot the chips that went with it. They claim they have the best pork tenderloin in Geist. Theres only three restaurants in the Geist Marina and one is a pizza joint. Next time we'll just walk next door to Wolfie's and get a better tenderloin. Saving grace was the carrot cake but has anyone ever had a bad carrot cake before?

Terrible first (and only) experience. Pretty sure our waitress was drunk. One of the appetizers we received was not what we ordered and she didn't even offer to correct it or take it off our bill. Food we did receive was blah.

Eddy's is one of our favorite places! It's a great local watering hole and has great food. Their soups are always stellar. Today's soup was Chicken and Dumplings and it was excellent. Sat at the bar with bartender, Brian. He is the best. He works Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Great TVs for watching sports.
