Very popular for small town within 10 miles from Lafayette. Pulled pork and brisket are main entrees. Friday nights only for ribeye steaks. See their website for full menu. I would suggest making reservations. It is very popular. They subscribe to the OpenTable app to make reservations. I think the decor is nice. On busy nights, it could get pretty noisy. It is an open concept. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. We went on a Wednesday evening. It started getting really busy around 6:30. It is very worth your time

This was our first time visiting here. We live on the east side of Lafayette and this was well worth our trip!We walked in and we're immediately greeted and we asked if we could sit in the bar area. There is a divider between the bar area and the family section so you can bring the kids!As soon as you walk in the door you were hit with the great smell of barbecue. I always enjoy walking in a place and smelling that and then leaving and still smelling like the restaurant the rest of the night.We were served by the bartender and she was very nice and made some good suggestions for the menu. She also let us sample one of the draft beers they had on tap. They have Yuengling Lager on tap which always makes me happy. I ordered the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich with the mac and cheese on the side. The sandwich was just filling enough. It left me full but not stuffed. The mac and cheese was a good side and had a good portion. My wife got the pulled pork nachos and had enough left over that she was able to have lunch the next day!! The limited hours make this restaurant tough for us to visit sometime, but I'm glad that we did and we will definitely be back!

Stopped in on a Friday evening for dinner. We ordered the burnt ends, fish tacos, and baby back ribs. All three were excellent Both the rub and smoke flavor were perfect. The baked bean and coleslaw sides really complimented the entree are not to be missed. These guys know what they are doing Period

Fun atmosphere and amazing smoked meats! The Brisket has always been my #1 choice, but now Burnt Ends are my favorite - so flavorful and delicious!! Feels like you have been transported to a small Texas town, so authentic! Great, friendly service as well.

I ate at Eddie Joe's tonight, as usual great food, but I really want to tell you what happened. I left my credit card there and I'm going on a trip tomorrow so I really needed it just so happened. I found out about this because the owner sent me a Facebook text. They were supposed to be opened, but I went Uber and nobody was there, I was able to get ahold of the owner Lee and he took his time to bring me my card. This was so important as I was traveling to see my son during the holiday. Kudos to Lee and I tried to give him my reward for his help. He did not want to take this. He told me a story about that something that happened to him at that restaurant before he owned it. I really think these are the kind of people that we want to do business with not only that, but their food is great. Thanks Lee, thanks to your staff. It's great to see honesty and helpfulness. We drove from Lafayette and were very happy with our dinner ! It's a casual and festive atmosphere. My brisket sandwich was great as were the fries. My husband liked his Tex-mex burrito very much. My only complaint would be not very many draft beer choices. Definitely worth the drive from Lafayette. Looking forward to bringing friends here.

A hidden gem! I hadn't heard of this place until some fellow foodie friends recommended it to me. It's in West Point, just a short and pretty drive from West Lafayette. Before living here in West Lafayette, I lived in Texas and, walking into Eddie Joe's, I felt like I was walking back into Texas! Loved the vibe this place gave!The menu has a good mix of bbq and tex mex. I couldn't decide between tex mex and bbq so I ordered the brisket tacos. The food was good. Not my favorite, but good. My issue was the brisket was SO smokey. If you love a smokey flavor, this bbq is for you. I've had bbq all over the US and this is the smokiest I've ever had and I wasn't a fan. The rest of the day, even after brushing my teeth, I felt like I had been licking the bbq grill directly. I'd like to go back and try something different. They have brunch on the first Saturday of each month and I'd like to try that.

Hands down the best BBQ joint I've been to my whole life! No exaggeration! I've tried the burnt ends (nothing burnt on these) and they're grilled to perfection! So soft and delicious. The catfish is fried perfect while the meat is so soft and flaky! The chicken wings with their array of sauces is just on another level. Customer service is up to par with Chick Fil A haha. Got the brisket dinner. Top 3 ever. Great staff/service as well. The rest of the family got catfish and a burger, they appeared satisfied.
