It was okay, not much to write home about. Drinks were strong but tasty, food was tasty. Just wish more options. The service was good. Lowkey everyone that works there is weirdly gorgeous though. And the overall vibe of the restaurant was the best part in my opinion

Food and service could not have been better. We ordered a couple appetizers. A cheese board and truffle fries. Both were really good and had something for every one. The truffle fries were super aromatic and crispy and crispy is hard to do with fresh cut fries. The cheese board had meats , cheese, pickles veg, almonds, and an apricot jam and was served with toast points. We got a mix of entrees. Salmon, Ribs and Skirt Steak and a couple Caesar Salada. The small salads were seriously enough to share. Can't imagine how big the larger salad is. Ribs were tender and fall off the bone. Skirt steak was perfectly cooked. Salmon with the lemon sauce was excellent. Interior was warm and nicely decorated. Our server was personable and did an excellent job Absolutely recommend.

Food was great and came out pretty quick! All the staff were so friendly and the ambiance is so nice for either day or night time. Portions were good. I had a hard time finishing my food. We ordered the pastrami melt with a side salad and the east end burger with a side of fries. I'm definitely coming back for the pastrami melt. The east end burger however was mid and I think we'd try something else next time. Everything else was great!Great for hanging out with friends, taking the family somewhere to eat (especially if anyone is visiting Purdue), and dates! But maybe not the most ideal for people with younger children.

Pretty much every restaurant in town close at 9, East End Grill is one of the few that close at 10. Upscale restaurant with upscale prices. Reason I said that is because I only order Chicken puff pastry which is a fancy alternative of Chicken pot pie. It was $24. Taste no difference than the one from KFC, the puff pastry is better here. The tab ran up pretty quick with a house salad and a drink.

I went to Purdue University for a campus recruiting event for my company. I asked one of my co-workers that just graduated from Purdue her recommendations and she steered me to East End Grill!I walked and the place was packed! The restaurant was really nice inside and the patrons were all having a good time with the food and conversations. Since I was solo, I sat at the bar. I placed my order for takeout but decided to stay and the bartender quickly changed my order and set my area up at the bar w/ utensils. I ordered the falafel dinner and house truffle fries. The dinner had 3 falafel pieces which were flat versus the traditional round shape. it came in in a bed of hummus and drizzled with a garlic sauce. It came with grilled pita triangles which had a perfect char taste. The falafel was coked nicely and had a soft texture on the inside and crisp on the outside. The flavors were traditional. Let's talk about the truffle fries which can be risky. This was a shareable but if I was with others, I don't think I would share! They were so good with the right amount of truffle and cooked nicely. The price I paid for both was approx. $25 and was well worth it!!!Anytime you are in Purdue make your way to the East End Grill and be sure you order the fries!!!! You will not want to share it!!!

Stopped in for a date night and I absolutely love this places. Its always great and great food from the specials to the desserts. You can tell the chef takes pride in there food, and makes sure everyone is happy. We had the truffle fries and the filet mignon with a side salad and mash potatoes. My husband had the shrimp and grits. We had the special dessert which was Tiramisu made in house and it was impeccable. Our server was Courtney and she was absolutely amazing. She was so inviting and just made the experience extra ordinary I will be back .

Stopped on the way to Chicago. From the reviews I knew I wanted to try the shrimp and grits. It was very good. But tried my husband's pastrami sandwich with fries and liked it as well ...if not more. We shared a cup of soup which was delicious. Decor and service both great. Recommend this place. Kristy was a attentive server.

Got the steak frites with truffle fries. First of all I like the look of the dish presentation, but by the time I eat half of my fries it becomes hard to dig through the rest of it. The truffle fries were delicious at the first few bites, but when you eat more the greasy feeling of the truffle oil is a little too much. Asked for the steak to be cooked medium, it has been done well, but I'll say 6oz is a small portion. Overall the service was friendly and nice.

I tried the salmon burger and it was phenomenal! Texture and taste pointed to it being real salmon. The truffle fries were also amazing and they came with a yummy aioli sauce to dip them in. Service was very pleasant, but also very slow which was strange because we came in for a late lunch.
