I love food trucks so I was excited to hear this truck was going to be in a neighborhood near mine. The service was great and the prices were reasonable - especially given the portion sizes. The pulled pork sandwich was huge. And messy, which if I am not mistaken is a sign of good BBQ. I couldn't even make it through all the Mac and cheese I was so full. It was super creamy. What is in that bbq sauce?! It was really sweet and tangy at the same time, I loved it. They were selling bottles of sauce for $6. Next time I will have to buy 1...or 3.

This food truck came for our school for food truck Friday. I had the bbq pork with Mac and cheese. Wow, the food was delicious. The meat was tender and juicy and there was plenty of food. I hope they come back again.

While I'd previously had Droopy's BBQ as part of the weekly Statehouse Market, for some reason I'd never reviewed this food truck that showed up in the Indianapolis area in 2017. If you can't guess, Droopy's focuses on BBQ related items. They do have a truck that says "Droopy's Indy Eats." I'm unsure if this is a separate truck or if they've actually expanded somewhat, but it does seem like this truck also offers mostly the same items. The Droopy's menu is fairly modest with a handful of sandwiches, side items, and your usual selection of food truck drinks (soft drinks, water). The sandwiches include brisket, pulled pork, chicken breast, the Carolina (essentially pulled pork with cole slaw on it), and occasionally a couple add-ons. It's a small but mighty menu. Sides include mac n' cheese, BBQ beans, green beans, greens, Texas Spicy Slaw, and some other options on occasion. The sandwiches are in the $8-10 range and I believe all come on a brioche bun. The Statehouse Market can be quite chaotic, but I was already impressed by the calm demeanor of those working. The line moved quickly and the food was served incredibly quickly, but was still hot. They offer several sauce options, as well. I ordered the chicken breast, though if you're expecting some slab of fast food chicken you should think again. This chicken breast is, quite simply, mind-boggling in presentation and taste. It's dry rubbed, smoked, and just incredibly tender. The serving size is quite generous. It actually is a bit bigger than the bun, though it's presented so nicely it just looks perfect. It also tastes perfect. Quite honestly, I was in awe of it and even writing about it now I find I want it again. It took me a few minutes to eat it - I love that. I hate it when I pay several bucks for a sandwich that disappears in 30 seconds. It's all too common, but not the case here. I did not order a side, though as I sat there I could tell the mac n' cheese was quite popular. Droopy's caters corporate events and can be found around town quite often. When Statehouse Market comes around, I frequently go for the pizza. However, I truly can't wait for the return of Droopy's. They do have a Facebook page and you can find out more about them there.

Damn, this is some solid bbq! This food truck came to my office and I can't resist a food truck. But I'm surprised I've never seen them before at the first Friday, but in either case I'm so glad I got to check them out. I loved the chalkboard menu on the outside, and the prices are very reasonable for BBQ! Really friendly and jovial staff! They kept me laughing! A plus is my wait was not that long at all! Which I appreciate in the summer.Food was amazing! I got the brisket sandwich, and it was tender, juicy and seasoned just right! I loved that I came with pickles. You can get a number of different sides, I went with the spicy slaw and it was spicy! But not teary eyes spicy which I lovedMake sure to try all the sauces as well! They add to the overall experience! One super hot, the other mild, and the last was vinegary! All so good. Can't wait to have again

Oh. My. Gods. These people are *all* about the meat, which is slow-smoked until it's fall-apart tender and juicy. Perfect amount of bark; perfect amount of smoke. His Goatness rides his bike to work past these folks while they're smoking, and he's been drooling to taste their BBQ for ages... was totally worth the wait. We got the pulled pork mac'n'cheese, which was gooey, creamy, tasty, and had a hefty helping of perfect smoked meaty chunks covering the top. We also got the pulled pork sandwiches -- again, they did not skimp on the meat. They have their own BBQ sauces -- both the Memphis Sweet and the Carolina Gold were delicious (I wasn't up to trying their habanero tonight). But don't overuse the sauce! Let the beauty of all that juicy succulent smoked meat shine through...

Food truck time! I had the tacos, one chicken and one beef. It felt like qdoba on a truck. Fast and still yummy. The lettuce and pico de Gallo taste fresh. They are heavy on the cheese without me saying to go heavy. Tasty and a quick fix if they come to an office near you!

Droopy's offers things the other BBQ trucks do not and that is total passion. The last time I ate here he had scrumptious, jucy and tender smoked corned beef. The sammie was delightful and totaly delish. One other time I had the tips and burnt ends that were prepared and smoked almost perfect. I cannot wait untill the food tru season starts again so I can lookout for Droopy's BBQ.

This food truck was parked outside Circle Centre Mall today and as I walked by it caught my eye and as I slowed down to look at the menu a very friendly person inside said "Come Back! Come on back". It wasn't a hard sell for me, she was smiling and called me 'Hon' and I ended up getting a half slab of ribs with habanero BBQ sauce. Those ribs were cooked perfectly! They were meaty, moist and smoky. The had a bit of dry rub on them, but the sauce was really tasty. Not too sweet and a good kick of heat.

This food truck BBQ is high quality, meticulously cooked, and delicious! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Very tender, tons of pork! Then my coworker ordered rib tips. They looked and smelled so wonderful I went back out and bought those too. Rib tips had a perfect dry rub. They were very tender and not too fatty.

I had to hunt this place down to review since my first search (in Indianapolis) didn't pull anything up. The truck was parked at the government center downtown today and it was DELICIOUS. I had the pulled pork sandwich with sweet bbq sauce and it was perfect. Also had the bbq beans, which were good, but the sandwich was definitely the standout.
