Dicky's Wild Hare

We used to love going there but their prices have went up so high. It would be different if it was fresh homemade products. I wanted a salad but I'm not paying $19.00 for a salad. The ranch used to taste good but it tastes like they switched to kraft. The service was good. He took care of us and tried to make sure we had what we wanted.The restaurant was 2/3rds empty on a Friday night but with all the prices going up. The prices went up 31%-46%. That a big jump from the last menu on yelp on 3/23.The restaurants decor was cute but for those prices I think it should be updated.

Our first visit to this local eatery was disappointing. We were seated promptly and drink orders taken and served. I ordered a brisket sandwich with a side of fries. The menu described this as smoked brisket. The meat was smothered with melted cheese and green peppers, adding very little in the way of flavor. The brisket (?) itself had no smoked flavor whatsoever; it seemed more like a piece of roast beef cooked in the oven. Barbeque sauce didn't even help add any flavor. The fries were soggy and pale, not hardly fried. My husband ordered the jambalaya which is one of his favorite dishes. The chicken and shrimp appeared to be cooked separately then placed atop rice and beans, way too spicy even for jambalaya, with some chopped tomatoes. (Note: jambalaya doesn't contain beans.) My husband ate the chicken and shrimp and left the rest. I make jambalaya at home from an authentic recipe - this didn't come close to any jambalaya we have ever had. Return to this place not likely.

I had been a regular here for a few years, before being turned off by mismanagement, disgruntled employees, and subpar kitchen fare. Under new ownership, this establishment is on its way to former glory. There are a number of menu items that have been rethought, and employee morale is SO much better (not to mention they've added some additional food service professionals to the team). If you've been turned off of this place in the past, it's time to go back!

Food and beverage joint - emphasis on latter- bar is not a safe place to be if you voice opinions that are considered controversial by certain service personnel. Controlled by "profit" motives allegedly, frequently over-serving clients and themselves, creating havoc. Beware IMHO.

As a Fort Wayne local, I had been here years before and was underwhelmed by food and service. Hadn't been back until we were searching for a shrimp po'boy did a quick order for carry out. (Husband got the Philly steak sandwich) WOW, it was SO good!! Great bread/shrimp ratio and killer jalapeno tartar sauce. And the price was very reasonable for two sandwiches. Like, so good I called to tell them and they let me know they were under new ownership (makes sense.) Will absolutely be back.

My drink had no alcohol in it at allI will say that the service was excellent!! When I asked to buy a shot to add to my drink she gave me one free ,so it's not the 1st time that someone has had a problem

we have been coming to this establishment for years and they never disappoint. Food is always delicious and service is wonderful.

Such a fun night tonight!! So glad to see Beth at Dicky's, one of our favorite bartenders from another bar!!! Love the new changes!!!

It's a place to have a beer and some edible food... i've had a beer and pretty good food, on occasion.. I go back.

One of my favorite bar and grills in the Ft. Wayne area. Great food, great beer list and great service.
