Dhing's Thai-Philippine Cuisine

Delicious food and amazing customer service. I will be back when I come to town. I had the bacon fried rice and the egg rolls. The flavors were really nice for both and the food came out hot and fresh. Oh and I've been to Thailand and the Philippines. Manage your expectations a bit in the Midwest people. The same reviewers posting negative comments about authenticity probably do the same about getting sushi in Oklahoma. The food was still delicious even though not as authentic as you would get in the orient.

I enjoy the delicious authentic meals at Dhing's. It is always hot, flavorful, and satisfying.

My husband and I arrived from Delaware looking for a restaurant that specialized in Thai Cuisine. As a chef & caterers ourselves we are very particular about the food we consume as well as business etiquette when dealing with unknown businesses for the first time. I called the establishment to place our order & I was met with a friendly voice who unbeknownst to me was the owner Ben. As as vegetarian that likes hot & spicy food with a husband who is a carnivore who likes his food mild. Ben was more than patient, made excellent recommendations & threw in some extras for us. The food was Excellent I asked if he made Egg Drop Soup...didn't see it on the menu, he said typically no but I'll prepare it for you...it was Incredible; from the Green Curry with Shrimp, Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice, Wings w/a Garlic Mild Wing Sauce, accompanied w/rice & two special dipping sauces etc. We highly recommend this location for takeout or for a sit down meal. This location is a true Gem Not to mention we made a new friend!

The food here is not authentic at all, and some of it tastes pretty bad. I had the pad see ew, lumpia and pork adobo. The pad see ew had the wrong noodles and flavor profile (skinny noodles instead of thick; sweet and sour taste instead of savory). It tasted closer to a pad thai than pad see ew. It tasted pretty good, but did not taste like it's supposed to. The lumpia is a disaster. Whoever made this clearly has never had lumpia before. The filling is completely wrong, and it's mostly raw. Who serves raw spring roll skin??? How can you call this a lumpia when it isn't even fried??? I was so excited to order it and was majorly disappointed when I opened the box. It tastes awful too, I only managed to force myself to eat half of the box. The pork adobo was alright, but not good enough for me to want to order it again. My experience with the lumpia means I'm never ordering Philippino food from here again, but the thai noodles were good despite them not being what I ordered.

I'm not from Logansport. I was looking for somewhere to eat on Yelp and only a few places had many good reviews and this was one of them so I tried it out. First, I did have a hard time finding it. I mean, it was literally right under my nose but, not being from Logansport, I'm not familiar with the area. It's in a small mini mall in front of Home Depot. The reason I had trouble seeing it is that, every other business in the mini mall has a large sign for their business above their door. Dhing's does not. There was just a small sign on the store front so, as I was driving and trying to be careful while not knowing where I was going, it was hard to spot.Once inside the seating is minimal with a couple of booths and a couple of tables. There are no public restrooms.The menu has a variety of Thai and Philippine cuisine. I ordered pork green curry. It was very good! Very flavorful! Options were Mild, Medium, and Spicy. When trying a new thai place I always err on the side of caution. I do like spicy, but not hot. I ordered mild and was glad a did because, in my opinion, it would have been more of a medium so keep that in mind when ordering. My friend ordering the fried rice and it was very good as well. All in all the food was aces!

Really enjoy this restaurant. Always friendly service. Tried the chicken noodle soup and pad thai this time. Would order both again. Portions were large enough to split between 2 people and at $14.99 that was a great price for dinner.

I've eaten at Dhing's many times for lunch during the week. It's decent and predictable after the first visit. For the town I would say above average but compared to real Thai/Vietnamese way below par! Service is always awesome with friendly servers. However the food takes a long time if they have more than a couple of tables. Egg Roll Appetizer taste like oil with no flavor unless you drown it in sauce. -2Pud Thai noodle dishes are always loaded with noodles but lacking pizazz and noodles usually mushy and over done. The sweet and sour dishes are ok at best with thin slivers of any meat you order. Over loaded with peppers and large chunks of pineapple that overwhelm the dish.The red curry along with the green is standard fare and above average for all of Indiana. That's not saying a lot but it is decent. The white rice is never fluffy and I would say sticky and hard, (under cooked). Thai tea is standard and good.I'll go back because choices are limited but the owner should have the booths fixed, walls washed down and add seasonal dishes with fresh vegetables.

I am very disappointed. We drove 25 miles out of our way to get thai food before they closed at 9 pm... only to find it posted on their door that no, they close at 8 pm. Not cool!

It's amazing!!! The fried rice is soooo amazing! Love everything they have there!!!! Bacon Fried Rice, egg Rolls , shrimp in a blanket are the best!!!

Anyone who think that this is anywhere near Thai or Filipino food has never been to the Philippines.I I gave it a one star because there's no option for zero stars!
