Ambiance: Very tasteful modern decorations and furniture. They may not be the absolute most practical/comfortable especially if you have mobility problems (a lot of high tops, some steps/very deep seats) but there's some "normal" tables you will probably need to request a reservation for if you have special needs. The music is very unobstrusive and easy to tune out if you're have a good conversation. Our server was also great at checking in, making you feel good about your orders, and keeping waters full. Food: Guacamole - Some of the best guacamole I've had. They do add a healthy dose of lime and spices to give it an extra punchiness that sets it above guacamole you might make at home. It comes with fantastic house-made chips that are thick but still light and airy. Portion is a smidge small but enough for two people to share. 5/5Queso fundido - Their version of choriqueso which is rich, savory, and slightly smoky. The texture is great, almost like an artichoke dip so very satisfying. Would order this every time I come back. Plenty to share with 4 people. 5/5Octopus - The octopus itself is incredibly tender and any "seafoodiness" balances out with the roasted potatoes. There's a little green dressing that brightens the whole dish up but nothing particularly mind-blowing that would make me reorder the dish. 3/5Birria short ribs - Our short ribs came out a little dry and overcooked but man the flavors were superb, especially the rice it was served with. Compose the perfect bite with rice, pickles, and birria and you will fall in love. Would order again in hopes our dry meat was a one-off. 4.5/5Mar y Tierra - Just a fantastic dish. The ancho coffee rub gives the steak a lovely dark bark that contrasts well with the pan sauce and sautéed peppers. The shrimps are just immaculately cooked and flavorful on their own. Combined with great creamy mashed potatoes, you can't really go wrong with this choice. 5/5Chipotle pork belly - The chipotle sauce could have been stronger but otherwise the dish is solid. We all gushed over the avocado rice and apple slaw which contrasted the fatty pork belly perfectly. 4/5Barbacoa empanada - Two puff pastry empanadas that are packed with barbacoa and served with an almost tomato-bisque sauce is an interesting take on empanadas. Very fun and flavorful overall and guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. 4.5/5Churros - Perfectly cooked and incredibly light and airy. Five pieces also make it great for table sharing. 5/5Chocolate flan (special) - I normally am not a flan lover but this was spectacular. The flan was rich with a deep chxocolately flavor and paired with sautéed strawberries, toasted coconut, and a whip that balanced everything out. Super sad this is not part of their standard menu. 5/5Choco-taco dessert cocktail - This is everything you expect and more. The chocolate and coffee liqueurs are boozy but highly drinkable and the chocolate graham rim makes it just decadent. If you are not the DD, would recommend giving this a try. 5/5Overall I'd give this place a 4.5 rating. Where Delicia excels is in composition and layering. I'll admit I initially didn't think the short rib or pork belly were THAT amazing at first but when I composed a bite with all the different dish components, they complemented each other beautifully and elevated the dish as a whole. There are multiple flavors and textures in each dish that will hit your palate at different times, Delicia's balance and proportioning of all these elements is impressive. Even their cocktails usually layer elements of smokiness, spiciness, and tanginess that show amazing balance and nuance. While their price point might seem a bit high, I think the chef's creativity and ambition justify it. I would gladly come back again and would recommend at least giving it a try once.

Our waitress was amazing despite me hating the cocktails lol the food was good though The cocktails were not good at all, not balanced and watered down, just terrible. The ambiance was excellent and the service was great!!

Came back for dinner! Ok. I liked it a lot! Met a girlfriend for dinner, and ironically sat in the bar area again. I think after going for the second time, I rather sit in the bar as it's just a little more...cozy. We both ordered the same cocktail which was the fire n ice with jalapeño infused tequila, hibiscus, basil and habanero reduction. It was supposed to be "very" spicy but when we got it, it wasn't too spicy and it also seemed as if it was batched. Mostly because the server came back within 30 seconds and the drinks weren't too chilled. The cocktail has so much potential! It tasted good, just did not seem fresh and it wasn't really spicy. We decided to order a bottle of red wine - which we enjoyed! Food: We got the chips and queso with chorizo. Very good. Very cheesy! Chips were also pretty good, with the perfect amount of salt! For my entree I got the birria short ribs which were the star of the show. Would get it again! It came with adobo rice that was also pretty tasty. My friend got the pork belly that she liked a lot as well. The parking in the front is pretty small, but I discovered that there is additional parking in the back! They also have a back door you can enter so you don't have to walk around.

Ok, first off I want to say that the service at Delicia was top notch. Some of the best service I have had and I give that five stars. My waitress took the time to tell me a little about the restaurant, menu inspiration and was very attentive. Fantastic experience! The look and vibes are on point too. Upscale without being too fancy. Great seating and decor. On to the food. This was where I give three stars. Maybe it's because I'd seen so many people post that this is one of the best places to eat in Indy and I'd hyped it up in my head but I was a little underwhelmed with my meal. The salsas - great! Especially the strawberry jalapeño. Super unique and the sweet cut through the spicy. I also had a mocktail, which was decent. For my main, I got the barbacoa tamal. After having tamales in Tucson, I have searched for something here that compares and was excited to see one made out of masa on the menu. But it didn't really hit for me. The masa was dry and kind of came off in chunks. The rice had a unique flavor but very small portion size compared to the tamal. I wish it had more heat to it and while the barbacoa was super tender and savory, I just wanted a kick to elevate it. Will I go back? I'm undecided. It's definitely pricier than most restaurants I frequent so that's kind of a barrier for me to trying multiple times. I'd be more like to order the salsa and a drink then snag dinner somewhere else.

DELICIA BRUNCH - For the Win!!! (Again) I have been to Declicia for Brunch a few times now and WOW! They cease to amaze, every time, every dish is amazing! From plating/ presentation to flavor combination to the service -- it's all great! 10/10 would recommend and eat again! We started with the Ceviche for an appetizer which came with a healthy portion size for 2 and you could taste the freshness. The heat from the jalapenos were what really did it for us! I was torn between the Huevos Rancheros and the Al Pastor Eggs Benedict -- the waiter suggested the Al Pastor and she was correct -- that dish is amazing! They have an al pastor hollandaise that really seals the deal on this one, and using the leftover sauce to dip your potatoes into is the way to go! My friend opted for the Steak and Eggs which was equally amazing, however the Eggs Benedict took the cake for me! However -- the plantains that come with it, are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! If you have the option to get those, you MUST!! Overall -- this place is amazing and I look forward to going back!

If you want a laid back atmosphere but loud food then this is the place. So much flavor and unexpected combinations that just work. Seated immediately with reservation. Service was quick and inviting. Our waitress, Stacy, was very knowledgeable of the menu and could easily explain any option. My husband and I really enjoyed our meals and were able to try something new. Nice job, Delicia.

Excellent service, but the food wasn't what I expected. I was hoping for a more authentic flavor, the lomo saltado was too salty. The presentation was beautiful, but it felt overpriced for what you get.

Great vibe for girls night or date night! I would recommend making a reservation and sitting in the bar if possible. Queso is delicious! I got the pork belly as my entree and it was good as well. It had a little kick to but over all good!

A hidden gem in the MK neighborhood -- a great place for an upscale dining experience! Be sure to make a reservation to ensure you will be seated.Loved that there were a few vegetarian options on the Latin-inspired menu and the variety of cocktails. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the interior design. Will definitely be back for 30% off drinks + apps at Happy Hour!
