I had a chance to check out Del Frisco's this weekend for Devour, and had a good time. One of the newer steakhouses in downtown Indy, there's a nice vibe going on. A high-end addition with a high-end cost to match. Decor is modern and sophisticated. A two-story restaurant that gives me an elevated Harry & Izzy's feel. Not to say it's not original, just familiar. There is a dress code listed on their website. So be mindful. Now, our party abided by the rules, however I did notice that several other patrons did not. Not sure if they are trying to get everybody familiar with them before enforcing the dress code, but nonetheless. Be aware.Everyone and I mean everyone, from the hostesses to the staff while we were headed to our table, greeted us upon arrival and it was pleasant to experience. I wish I had gotten better pictures of the food because everything was delicious. So where do I begin??!Appetizers: I ordered their tuna tartare and my husband ordered their Wagyu meatballs. Both to me were yummy. Hubby didn't care for the tuna tartare, but I did. If I were to get it again, I would ask for a little bit more of their spicy mayo. I can't remember the name of it, but it was delicious. Bread. Order. The. Bread. BUT: be warned! Some of the best dinner rolls I've had. Buttery without being too wet. And soft without being under baked. OH my, they were good. Entrees: For many of us who have a number of steakhouse visits under our belt, we know that not every house cooks their steaks the same. We know the places that overcook steaks and we know the places that undercook steaks. I am pleased to report that Del Frisco's knows how to cook a steak! When our server, Logan, took my order, I was concerned that his description of their medium would be like a medium rare- so I ordered medium well (not usual for me). Well, when my medium well steak came out, it was overcooked for my liking. No one's fault, I just wasn't sure what I was getting by Logan's description. Hubby ordered his steak medium and let me try his. It was perfect. This being my first time, I just didn't know. But now I know that I can trust the folks at Del Frisco's. So they re-fired a new steak, medium, and it was perfectly delicious. The Oscar enhancement was a nice touch. It had a surf and turf taste, that I enjoyed. We ordered the sweet potato casserole and broccolini for our sides. Please note that everything here is à la carte, just FYI. I enjoyed the broccolini. And hubby thought that the sweet potato casserole was okay. Maybe one or two shakes of brown sugar more and I think it would've been good for him. Dessert: We both ordered dessert from their Devour menu. I had mine to go because I was already full (blame the rolls). And hubby ordered the butter cake and I think he took his to go as well. I thought the chocolate mousse was a chocolate mousse cake, so just slightly surprised, but nonetheless, it was good. Nothing too special, but I came for the steak not the dessert. We had an issue with the check when we were wrapping up, but it was resolved-no fuss. But just always double check your check before so there's no frustration. So all in all, it was a nice experience. I would like to come back. I have my eye on their surf and turf trio. So we'll see. I'd give Del Frisco's a 4 out of 5 - only because the price point for their regular menu is a little higher for weekly trips, but not a deterrent for me. I'll just spread my visits out a little but. But check it out for yourself and let me know what you think!

My son and I took a weekend trip to Indiana to check out a few races at the motor speed way. He asked for a healthy meal, so we decided to explore outside of our hotel and check out this steak house. We were seated upstairs since the restaurant was packed! Everyone looked to be enjoying their evening. Everything we ordered was delicious. My son took it upon himself to ask for the manager to let him know the steak was "mind blowing ". Can't wait to come back next time we are in town !

ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AMAZING ANNIVERSARY DINNER FOR THE BOOKS!!! We were greeted with a "Happy Anniversary" upon arrival from several team members. We were immediately taken to our table where our friendly and knowledgeable waitress took great care of us. We never waited or had to ask for anything; the team was attentive and proactive the entire night. Our food selections were DELICIOUS! Fresh baked buttery & gooey rolls; the lobster bisque was creamy and full of flavor; the sea bass was fresh and cooked extremely well; the ribeye was perfect; the mushrooms, broccolini and truffle double baked potato was scrumptious. We also received complementary cheesecake for our anniversary dessert that was very tasty. The ambiance was perfect for our romantic evening. Great location, beautiful decor and amazing team members.Truly a perfect evening; a 10 out of 10. Del Frisco's has definitely moved into our top 3 favorite restaurants. See you soon!

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by stunning decor that sets the tone for an elegant dining experience. The live music adds the perfect touch, creating an incredible atmosphere that elevates every moment. The food? Simply the best. I've had many steaks, but nothing compares to their bone-in filet -- my absolute favorite! The flavor, tenderness, and perfection in every bite are unparalleled. But what really takes Del Frisco's to the next level is the service. It's something you have to experience to truly appreciate. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making your meal extraordinary. If you're lucky enough to have Doug as your server, you're in for a treat! He goes above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of with warmth and professionalism. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Highly recommend!

Joined a friend for their happy hour and a few weeks later had dinner. Overall, I believe I may like apps from here over actual entrees. However, I'm going to give another try. Happy Hour Experience: 10/10We sat at the bar. Good was already ordered so I personally did not have a long wait time. Listen, that honey bread situation is bad news in a great way. It's like if Texas Roadhouse & Auntie Anne's had a baby together. Sweet, warm and salty. Delicious! Hamachi was tasty. It had just enough citrus from the Meyer lemon and was sliced well. The charred octopus I will give another try to appropriately rate as I tried it after it sat for awhile so it was warm. Now to the star...the beef carpaccio. Job well done!! My goodness. The greens, the pickled onion and babeee the stone mustard sauce really complement one another for a PERFECT bite. Run to try, don't walk. That is all. I had a lemon drop as a bevy and it was just okay. Dinner:Of course in true fan girl fashion I got the beef carpaccio again. Bravo to the consistency in the flavor & presentation. I ordered the sea bass that came with a crab fried rice and a black bean garlic sauce. The sauce gave more of a ginger soy profile and unfortunately the "crab fried rice" lacked the crab. When I mentioned to my server it was somewhat brushed off. I was happy the flavor was there however...please add the crab. I also ordered a side of broccolini. If you aren't a true garlic fan I'd advised you choose another side. I thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert I got the strawberry hibiscus cheesecake...YUM!! My friend got a the lemon cake and it's not how your aunt makes it with the nice lemon glaze. However, it was shockingly moist and really flavorful. Service: It was a Saturday night. Fairly packed. Valet was a breeze! And honestly the better route due to our garage partnering so expensive. Our server was fairly attentive considering the crowd, knowledgeable and kind.

I had an incredible dining experience at Del Frisco's--definitely one of the best in Indianapolis! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted, and the hostess escorted me upstairs to our table. Although we were initially seated at a two-top, we requested a four-top for extra space. A manager promptly accommodated us, moving us to a lovely table by the window, which was perfect! We started with the Oyster Casino and Del's Jumbo Lump crab cake, which was packed with 90% crab and just 10% breading--delicious! We also enjoyed a Double Eagle Margarita topped with Grand Marnier and a premium Paloma. Both drinks were so good that we ordered another round. The bread was exceptional, and we paired it with a Caesar salad.Although it was Devour Indy, we chose to order from the regular menu. For our main courses, we had the filet mignon, prime ribeye, and a baked potato. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, at just the right temperature. Of course, no dinner is complete without dessert, so we indulged in the Lemon Doberge cake. While the cake was flavorful, it leaned more towards a buttery taste than lemon. To top it all off, we had three attentive servers ensuring everything was perfect. I think it's safe to say Del Frisco's just became my new favorite steakhouse. A solid 10 out of 10!Updated Review: **Yelp Review for Del Frisco's** 3/5I returned to Del Frisco's for my birthday, excited after a great prior experience, but unfortunately, this time fell short. The service was mediocre at best. Our waitress made several mistakes, from bringing out the wrong appetizers and beverages to giving us an incorrect check. On top of that, it took an incredibly long time to cook our seabass. While it was really good once we finally received it, the multiple errors turned what should have been a two-hour dinner into a three-hour ordeal. It definitely wasn't the birthday dinner I had hoped for.I'm hoping they'll pay closer attention to orders in the future to ensure accuracy and speed up the process, so we don't have to wait so long for entrées.

Very classy place perfect for a celebration! The staff is attentive and well trained. They walk you through your dinner without rushing you.We started w drinks, wine and espresso martinis. Freshly baked rolls and honey butter was brought to our table. For an appetizer we enjoyed Dynamite Shrimp. I loved the sweet and spicy flavor and the fact that the shrimp was not breaded. For dinner, our party had filets, scallops and crab cakes. For sides we shared mushrooms, broccolini and lobster Mac n cheese. The filets were cooked to perfection and very tender. The scallops came w a fresh, lemony sauce and the crab cakes were amazing. 90% crabmeat and full of flavor. We rounded off the meal with some sweet treats. The butter cake is served warm with vanilla ice cream. The lemon cake is savory and delicious.A very nice dinner!

Food was very good, but I have had better. The devour menu prices are very misleading. While most devour prices are a set amount for a 3 or 4 course meal, this is not the case here. While the menu states choose one under each headline, they are not all included in that set price. With the up charges for the steaks on devour, we paid more than the original menu pricing plus the sides. So be careful what you order, it may end up costing you more than the original menu.
